BFI London Film Festival confirms unexpected closing night movie

As a long-time enthusiast of both LEGO and music, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming BFI London Film Festival 2024! The fact that their closing night movie is none other than the LEGO animated film, “Piece By Piece,” about the life of American pop sensation Pharrell Williams, has me practically dancing with joy.


2024’s BFI London Film Festival concludes with an unanticipated selection – a movie immersed in the realm of LEGO animation.

The event taking place from October 9th to 20th, has declared that their closing night spectacle will be the UK debut of “Piece By Piece“.

The unique gathering is set to take place at the Royal Festival Hall, located within the Southbank Centre, while similar presentations will occur across various locations throughout the United Kingdom.

In the latest production by Oscar-winning documentarian Morgan Neville, Williams himself joins an illustrious ensemble of celebrities.

Notable musicians like Gwen Stefani, Kendrick Lamar, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Busta Rhymes, Jay-Z, and Snoop Dogg make appearances in the movie as well.
