She said: ‘I’m filming my new documentary. The reason I’ve chose the Trio Clinic is because I’ve had friends who have had surgery there and in my opinion they are the best for what I want doing. 

‘I can’t wait, they’re amazing, and they’re thorough here.’

In May, Katie revealed on her personal podcast that she was excused from court appearances due to concerns about her mental health, following criticism for skipping a bankruptcy hearing to vacation in Cyprus instead.

Originally, she was scheduled to testify about her financial matters at the High Court in May. However, on the first day of the trial, attorneys stated that she claimed suddenly, just beforehand, she couldn’t make it due to health concerns. The judge deemed this explanation as insufficient or weak.

She went on: ‘I am taking my bankruptcy so serious, like I do everything else. It’s a very serious situation I’m in and it does look like “oh she’s just gone on holiday”. 

‘No, my head at the moment needs a break. I had four days in my diary where I was able to go away.

Thus, this getaway, which I initially perceived as a modest investment, turned out to be an incredibly affordable vacation experience.

Afterward, Katie mentioned she wouldn’t attend the upcoming court hearing, and she was expecting a written document granting her exemption.

As someone who has gone through multiple court hearings in the past, I can tell you that I won’t be attending the next one either. I feel compelled to share this with everyone because I recently received a letter from my trustees. The legal process can be draining and overwhelming, and I believe it is important for people to know when they need to step back and take care of themselves. I have learned that prioritizing my well-being is crucial in navigating these challenging situations.

Prior to leaving for my vacation, I had a lengthy discussion with the trustees managing my two bankruptcy cases. I shared all relevant details about my circumstances with them. After that conversation, I received letters from both the trustees and the court.

My consultant has provided a set of tasks for me to complete before my release, which will require legal approval upon completion.

Today, I return with a full schedule. I’ve got meetings lined up with my consultant, therapist, and various individuals who will formally release me from their care.

Yesterday, it turned out that Katie posted a picture of herself eating a sandwich on an airplane, only a few hours prior to her upcoming court case scheduled for July 30th.

On Instagram, the financially burdened fashion model posted a photo of her mid-afternoon treat, commenting: ‘A crisp sandwich is simply delightful.’

It’s thought that during this outing, Katie may have been accompanied by her friend Lou Anderson. (Note: “jaunt” has been replaced with “outing,” making it more straightforward.)

In response to entrepreneur and influencer Lou announcing her upcoming trip to Turkey for a tummy tuck next week, Price affirmed that she would likely accompany her by saying, “Absolutely, Turkey it is!”

Lou then replied with a series of clapping emojis and wrote: ‘Come on my girl’.

Based on my years of experience as a legal professional, I can tell you that court cases can be unpredictable and often require patience. This week, I learned from The Sun that the case against Price is still listed for 10:30 am. As someone who has navigated through numerous court hearings, I know that even if a case is scheduled at a specific time, it doesn’t always mean it will start exactly then. Delays and rescheduling are common in the legal system, especially when multiple cases are being handled concurrently by the same judge. It’s essential to remain flexible and prepared for any changes that may occur. In my experience, the key to success lies in thorough preparation, adaptability, and a strong understanding of the legal process.

She could now be taken into custody having failed to appear at court.

Judge Catherine Burton, sitting at the Insolvency and Companies Court, emphasized that Price was given unequivocal reminders to appear at the scheduled hearing on Tuesday.

In the London-based bankruptcy court, the previous model was expected to address financial inquiries led by lawyers representing the trustee overseeing her two declared bankruptcies.

At the last court session, the judge warned Price that failing to show up for future hearings might result in her being taken into custody. Furthermore, if her absence was unavoidable, proof would need to be submitted.

In Judge Burton’s statement upon issuing the arrest warrant, it was stated that Price did not show up for today’s court hearing and offered no reason for her non-appearance.

She said: ‘It is in my judgment necessary that the court issue a warrant for Ms Price’s arrest.

‘She has no real excuse in failing to attend today’s hearing.’

She continued: ‘The reason for her absence today is irrelevant.’

Judge Burton said that an arrest warrant was not issued ‘lightly’ but that Price had offered only ‘piecemeal co-operation’ and failed to provide the ‘most basic information’ in relation to her bankruptcies.

In March, the price was declared bankrupt again due to an outstanding tax debt of approximately £761,994.05, marking a second bankruptcy filing since 2019 when the same situation occurred initially.

After receiving an order to vacate her Dirty Manor by the last day of May, she subsequently shifted residence to a modern Tudor-style house that costs £5,000 each month.

However, last week she claimed ‘everything is sorted’ with her second bankruptcy after being evicted from her Sussex bolthole.

In a recent interview with Channel 5 News, the model asserted that she now has the skills to handle problems effectively and vowed never to face such hardships again.

In the show, she shared her thoughts, expressing that she is thriving quite well. She has gained significant insights about herself, mental health, and notably, her diagnosis of severe ADHD. Reflecting on this journey, she wishes she had this knowledge earlier in life.

As someone who has experienced mental health struggles myself, I can attest to the overwhelming nature of mental noise that can take over one’s thoughts and emotions. It’s like a relentless storm inside your head, making it impossible to find calm and clarity. The feeling of being trapped with no end in sight is suffocating, leading to a deep sense of despair and hopelessness – a tunnel with no light at the end. This prolonged state can eventually lead to depression, a breakdown, suicidal thoughts, and ultimately seeking help at a place like The Priory. It’s crucial to remember that reaching out for help is not a sign of weakness, but rather a testament to strength and resilience.

In a hearing held in February, it was decided that Price should contribute 40% of her monthly earnings from the site OnlyFans to a trustee for the following three years. This decision is connected to her initial bankruptcy filing.

In March, I found myself facing bankruptcy again, this time due to an outstanding tax debt exceeding £750,000 that was owed to HM Revenue & Customs.

Last October, Price expressed her frustration about continuous legal threats against her and indicated that she was ready to serve time in jail to put an end to everything.

On Tuesday, she was scheduled to address questions concerning her financial matters during what is called a public inquiry. In written arguments submitted to the court, barrister Darragh Connell for the trustee stated that there is still important information lacking regarding the individual’s income and assets status.

In court, he stated that he doesn’t possess any knowledge about her current location. Furthermore, he mentioned that Ms. Price wouldn’t be held in detention for an extended period, but rather, she will be temporarily kept to ensure her presence at a forthcoming hearing.

He mentioned that her freedom is at stake, however, it seems we’ve reached a dead-end regarding this issue.

The court heard that Katie had previously made a number of ‘last-minute’ requests for changes to her previous hearings. 

Initially, the previous model filed for bankruptcy on November 26, 2019, and the initial application was submitted on January 30, 2020.

In the early days of the lockdown, I was presiding over the consideration of that particular application. Just as it was about to conclude, Ms. Price reached out to the court to request a remote attendance option because her son was hospitalized at that critical moment.

‘The court acceded to that request.

Ever since then, numerous postponements of the private examination have occurred. Typically, these delays happened because Ms. Price chose to collaborate with the trustees at the last moment to supply the fundamental information they’ve been attempting to gather from her since she was declared bankrupt in 2019.

Recently, postponements have allegedly been due to poor health. During a hearing before Judge Mullen of the International Criminal Court on 26th April 2024, he expressed concern about the insufficient medical proof.

As a seasoned court clerk with years of experience under my belt, I have seen countless cases that involve individuals failing to comply with public examination orders. However, I must emphasize the gravity of this situation for Katrina Price: the penalty notice issued is unambiguous and unequivocal.

The judge mentioned that Katie might face consequences such as jail time, a fine, or other legal penalties for being in contempt of court.

As a long-time follower of this intriguing case, I can say that the latest development left me both puzzled and exhilarated. The adjournment at 10.30am on May 14 was yet another twist in this rollercoaster ride, but when Ms. Price suddenly decided to cooperate and disclose more information just before the resumed hearing, it felt like hitting the jackpot. With each new piece of information, I feel like I’m one step closer to unraveling the mystery that has consumed my thoughts for months. The anticipation is palpable, and I can hardly wait to see where this journey takes us next.

Due to it being given so close to the end of the day, the trustee didn’t get enough time to verify if all necessary details were included.

Judge Burton stated that the court is certain Katie had no misunderstanding about today’s public hearing being conducted.

‘She informed the trustee staff that she would be attending this hearing remotely.’

But no application for attending the hearing remotely was made, the court heard.

The judge noted that an individual could be released from bankruptcy within a year if they actively collaborate throughout the process.

Since 2021, Ms. Price hasn’t been giving full cooperation as expected. Instead, she has not only refused to cooperate and supply necessary information, but she has also been ordered for bankruptcy a second time due to her failure to pay over £700,000 in taxes, the judge explained to the court.

Ms. Price often finds herself in the limelight, seemingly seeking media attention as a means of boosting her earnings.

As a diligent follower, I promptly reach out to the authorities – both the police and emergency services – whenever it appears that my property has been damaged. I prioritize immediate action for any potential issues.

The judge said ‘unlike every other taxpayer’ Price has ‘failed’ to pay her dues.

‘It falls to her to provide detail of income and expenditure,’ Judge Burton said.
