This Morning’s Josie Gibson gasps ‘don’t throw me under the bus’ as co-host probes her love life live on show – swiping ‘I can’t believe you just did that!’
Oh, where do I even begin with the delightful chaos that is Josie Gibson gracing our screens once again on This Morning? As a dedicated fan who has watched her journey since her Big Brother days, let me tell you, it’s like coming home after a long, arduous day of trudging through the fields of reality TV.
During Thursday’s broadcast, Josie Gibson expressed surprise when her co-host delved into her personal love life, exclaiming, “Please don’t put me in a tricky situation!”
During their usual summer vacation, regular hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard were absent. Instead, Craig Doyle took over as the presenter for the program.
Instead of Rochelle Humes having stepped aside for a while, it’s Cat who has returned, with Rochelle currently enjoying some time off – and this means that popular host Josie, aged 39, is back on screen, bringing great joy to viewers!
And on the show she was left embarrassed after Craig, 53, made a cheeky remark about her love life.
They spoke with astrology specialist Hagan Fox for a conversation about the forthcoming Astrology segment.
Hagan said: ‘Anything that anyone wants to know, including yourself, Craig. I am here for you.’
Craig responded with a confident tone, “I’m doing well, I’m feeling great,” followed by a playful comment, “By the way, any romantic news from the neighborhood for our friend here?”
Josie looked shocked as she light-heartedly shouted back: ‘Don’t throw me under the bus.’
Hagan then added: ‘The love front for Josie? Well there is me, there’s Craig. Anyone else, Josie?’
With a chuckle, Josie responded, “It seems like I’ll require some assistance for this task. I’m astonished! Please, recite those figures!”
Audience members expressed their joy on Twitter upon seeing Craig and Josie return to the show, stating that they believe these two should become permanent hosts. “#ThisMorning”, they added.
Craig and Josie exhibit a stronger connection in just two minutes compared to how long Ben and Cat’s chemistry has developed on the show, as we’ve seen so far on #thismorning.

After generating some buzz about potential romance, I found myself, much like Josie and Stephen Mulhern, 47, being linked together following a sweet backstage moment at Saturday Night Takeaway in April – where we were spotted holding hands.
Instead, Stephen dismissed the rumors when confronted with probing questions about the alleged relationship on This Morning.
Hosts Cat and Ben couldn’t resist stirring the pot during a recent interview.
During his book promotion, Stephen was spotted utilizing an ASMR-themed setup, which offered Ben the chance to subtly mock him by stating that since he was among fellow creators, he was merely ‘playing house’.
After getting up from the massage table, Stephen chuckled at the remark and playfully said to Ben, “Close your mouth,” before they took a short commercial break.
As the program progressed without a hitch, during Steven’s final interview, Cat and Ben resurfaced the gossip – compelling the Deal or No Deal host to comment on it.
He mentioned that she missed the rehearsals. He guided her on where to position herself during rehearsals by holding her hand. That’s all there is to it. Done!
‘Uh-huh, really. Your lips are sealed?’ poked Cat, while Ben said, ‘Me thinks he protest too much.’
The ITV presenters couldn’t hold back their laughter as a red-faced Steven asked: ‘Why are you doing this to me?! Unbelievable!’
After a photo emerged of us holding hands, Josie playfully told TopMob: “I seem to be smitten by Stephen Mulhern. And as usual, it appears that he might not return the feelings.”
