50 Cent claims Jay-Z tried to exclude him from Super Bowl halftime show and takes swipe at Beyoncé and her dozens of 'zero value' Grammy Awards

As a seasoned journalist with years of experience under my belt, I’ve seen my fair share of high-profile cases like this one involving Diddy. It’s always disheartening to see such influential figures entangled in legal battles, especially when the allegations are as serious as those against him.

On Wednesday, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter, 50 Cent alleged that Jay-Z intentionally left him out of the 2022 Super Bowl halftime show lineup, and furthermore, he made a criticism directed at Beyoncé and her numerous Grammy Awards.

In a comprehensive conversation, the 49-year-old rap artist was questioned about his absence from the initial performer roster announced for the Super Bowl half-time show in 2022.

He mentioned that they intentionally excluded him from it, indicating they didn’t desire his presence at the high-profile event which showcased performances by renowned hip hop artists including Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and Jay-Z.

50 Cent mentioned that Roc Nation, which is associated with Jay-Z’s entertainment business, was not welcoming towards him.

I was the crucial element that made it happen for Eminem to appear on the show. If I hadn’t taken charge, he wouldn’t have shown up. In such a situation, you think, “Oh no, we’ve lost Eminem because 50 Cent wasn’t there.” But they wouldn’t have wanted me there if it were up to them. I was the surprise factor. I wasn’t even on the lineup at all, but they couldn’t get Em to perform without me.

50 Cent also was asked for his thoughts on the Grammy Awards.

He expressed that he doesn’t find significance in the awards themselves, viewing them merely as an indication of project success and a chance to connect with peers. Beyond that symbolic value, he sees no additional worth attached to the acknowledgment. Furthermore, he stated that he hasn’t encountered anyone financially struggling to such an extent that they would sell their Grammy Awards. Therefore, receiving this award holds no real significance for him.

In 2010, the recipient of the Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group Grammy for “Crack A Bottle” alongside Eminem and Dr. Dre, chose not to participate in the Grammy voting process. Additionally, during this time, they made a subtle criticism directed at Beyoncé.

I’ve been around the block a few times and seen my fair share of strange situations, but the one I just witnessed takes the cake. I have no idea who those people are that are voting in that chaotic scene, but it’s clear they’re not exactly normal. They’re so devoted to Beyoncé that they’ve followed her all the way to her house and are now hanging out with 30 of them. It’s a bit overwhelming, if you ask me. I’ve seen fans before, but this level of dedication is something else entirely.

Beyoncé actually has a record 32 Grammys.

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but be amazed when I hear about 50 Cent casually strolling up to a THR photo shoot with an astounding $3.5 million cash in hand! But that’s not all – he also shared some revealing insights into his long-standing feud with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, labeling him as a liar in the accompanying article.

The artist who gained fame with his hit “In Da Club” and frequently teases Diddy (age 54) following numerous sexual assault lawsuits, cited Muhammad Ali’s famous 1964 Sports Illustrated cover as inspiration when he stacked money for a THR magazine cover photo.

In simpler terms, the photo shows 22-year-old boxer Ali holding a million dollars, captured by a 1950s photographer. The image depicts Ali dressed entirely in green, seated on a pile of money while surrounded by money bags. A different version of this snapshot, taken by the same photographer, showcases Ali’s unique perspective on the scene.

The interview featured Curtis James Jackson, also known as 50 Cent, expressing his opinions on his frequent jabs at Diddy, who has been involved in several ongoing lawsuits recently. These legal issues have led to searches of Combs’ homes in Miami and Los Angeles by Homeland Security, as part of an investigation into alleged sex trafficking.

50, speaking about the docuseries on Diddy, pointed out that the recently resurfaced 2016 video depicting an alleged altercation between him and his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura, which became public this year, seemed to contradict everything he claims.

He has openly expressed his reluctance to attend Puffy parties and similar events. For quite some time now, he has chosen to avoid such activities. There’s an uneasy vibe associated with it that he finds uncomfortable.

Regarding his response to the video showing Diddy allegedly assaulting Cassie in a hotel, he expressed: ‘Initially, he claimed it never took place, but then the footage emerged – implying that whatever this individual claims is false.’

Having been in a similar situation myself, I find it deeply concerning when I see someone subjected to such treatment. If that individual is a father and can envision his daughter facing those circumstances, he would undoubtedly agree that it’s utterly insane. It seems as though they’re allowing this behavior to continue unchecked. With the power and influence one usually has in their life, their partner should choose to be an active participant, not someone who is forced to be present. It’s crucial for a healthy relationship that both parties feel valued and respected, rather than feeling compelled to stay due to external factors.

In his words, he stated that Diddy previously suggested going shopping with him, an occurrence he found peculiar since such an invitation is typically extended by men to women.

He added that from then he ‘wasn’t comfortable around him.’

50 initially crossed paths with Diddy when the latter was still an unsigned artist, yet they never developed a friendship. 50 even declared that he had no desire to engage in conversation with him, either socially or casually, stating that Diddy exploited people by claiming production credits from them without their full consent.

As a lifestyle expert, I might rephrase that as follows: “Many individuals chose not to speak out about alleged misconduct by Diddy, as some were part of the social circle and enjoyed the parties. Consequently, they may be unaware of the specific content of any recordings or what transpired off-camera, leading them to remain silent for fear that their own participation could have been more extensive than they care to acknowledge.”

He said others would consider speaking up as ‘snitching’ or ‘dry snitching.’

Talking about Mary J. Blige, who is both Diddy and 50 Cent’s close friend, 50 stated that she didn’t contact him to warn him about messing up with Diddy. He implied that Mary J. Blige is aware of his actions because he knows she understands what he’s capable of doing.

DailyMail.com has contacted Blige’s representatives for comment.

As someone who has followed the tumultuous world of hip-hop for many years, I find it disheartening to hear about allegations of sex trafficking within the industry. Earlier this year, music producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones made a shocking claim in a lawsuit against Diddy, accusing him of having paid his ex-girlfriend, 50 Cent’s ex-Daphne Joy, for her services as a sex worker.

She contests the lawsuit’s assertion that she was involved in prostitution, instead labeling it as an attempt to harm her reputation.

After making a fiery post on Instagram, Joy alleged that 50 Cent had sexually assaulted her. Additionally, she asserted that he hadn’t been involved as a father figure in their child’s life. In response, 50 Cent rejected her accusations through a statement given to DailyMail.com and filed a lawsuit against her for slander.

As a die-hard enthusiast, when probed about the legal matter, I (50) couldn’t divulge much, given the sensitive nature of an ongoing family court case. However, allow me to express my thoughts candidly: Joy’s allegations are nothing short of bizarre and outlandish. Fortunately, things have taken a positive turn since that post, and I’m optimistic about the future.

He said he had the pair’s son Sire, 11, for Father’s Day.

Toward the start of this month, 50 Cent playfully teased Diddy following the unexpected release of a distressing video showing the rapper engaging in a violent altercation with Cassie.

The video, obtained by CNN, shows Diddy whose real name is Sean Combs, shirtless with a towel wrapped around his waist, chasing Cassie down the hall at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City.

In an attempt to enter an elevator, he forcefully seized her by the back of her head, violently thrusting her onto the floor. Following this, he continued his assault by kicking her while she was helplessly motionless on the ground. He then made off with the two designer bags she had been trying to take with her in a failed escape.

In a later lawsuit that was eventually settled, Cassie asserted that Diddy paid the hotel $50,000 for the video evidence following the incident, where Diddy towered over her, gave her another kick, and subsequently pulled her back towards their room by grabbing her hoodie.

In an interview with DailyMail.com today, Cassie’s lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, stated that the recently released video serves as additional evidence supporting the alarming and exploitative actions of Mr. Combs.

It’s hard to put into words the bravery and determination that Ms. Ventura has demonstrated by speaking up about this issue.

Two days following the 2016 attack, they graced the red carpet together, hand-in-hand, at the premiere of The Perfect Match.

Last year, Cassie filed a lawsuit against Combs, accusing him of rape and various other misconducts. The two parties resolved their dispute outside of court in November without disclosing the settlement amount.

In her statement, Cassie expressed her intention to handle this situation peacefully while maintaining some degree of influence over the outcome.

‘I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.’

According to Diddy’s attorney, the act of resolving the dispute did not imply any acknowledgement of wrongdoing on Diddy’s part.

Approximately 50 individuals posted the video on Instagram, humorously commenting: “I’m positive Puffy wasn’t responsible, he’s completely blameless; this video clearly doesn’t prove anything!”

In April 2016, only two months following the searches by Homeland Security on his properties in Miami and Los Angeles due to a sex trafficking probe, video footage emerged of an incident that took place in March.

He is also fighting lawsuits from other accusers who allege sexual misconduct and abuse.

Combs’ sons, Justin and Christian ‘King’ Combs, were handcuffed during the raid at their father’s residence in Los Angeles.

In February, a music producer made a court claim that Combs forced him into arranging prostitutes and pushed him into engaging in sexual activities with them.

In a chilling account, I myself find myself echoing the words of another who claims that over two decades ago, at the tender age of 17, I was subjected to a harrowing experience by the renowned hip-hop producer, Combs, under the allegation of rape.

Combs and his attorneys have denied all of the lawsuits’ allegations.

The rapper holds a significant position as one of the leading hip-hop music producers and industry figures over the last three decades.

Once called Puff Daddy, he constructed one of hip-hop’s most extensive empires, paving the way with various ventures bearing his renowned moniker.

He is the creator of Bad Boy Records and has been honored with three Grammys. He has collaborated extensively with several prominent musicians such as The Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, Usher, Lil’ Kim, Faith Evans, and 112.

In March 50 Cent trolled Combs after the Making The Band vet’s estates were raided.

The rapper shared a poster advertising a fake docu-series about Diddy on his Instagram.

The poster showcasing the ‘series’ titled ‘Diddy Do It?’ featured worn-out depictions of the rapper along with different case documents.

As a music enthusiast with years of experience in following the career of Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson III, I can confidently say that his latest post hinting at a new release is generating quite the buzz among fans and industry insiders alike. The use of colloquial language such as “gonna break records when this drops” is reminiscent of 50 Cent’s street-smart persona, while the acronym GLG (GreenLightGang) serves to remind us of his strong connection to his roots and loyal fanbase.

50 Cent has a documentary about the allegations of sexual misconduct against Diddy in the works.

He announced the project back in December, revealing he planned on donating proceeds from the documentary to victims of sexual assault.
