PlayStation Plus August 2024 monthly games announced

As a lifelong Star Wars fan who grew up playing Lego sets and console games, this month’s PlayStation Plus lineup has me absolutely thrilled! The chance to revisit the epic Skywalker saga in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is an absolute dream come true. And with additional content from shows like Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor, it feels like a love letter straight to my childhood self!

For August, PlayStation Plus members will receive three free games to add to their collection: “Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga”, “Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach”, and “Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights”. Sony Interactive Entertainment made this announcement on Wednesday. Starting from Tuesday, August 6th, players can download these games to enjoy.

In 2022, the game called “Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga” is being released, allowing fans of Star Wars to reenact the tales from the prequels, original trilogy, and sequels in a humorous Lego style. With numerous playable characters available, and additional downloadable content adding even more characters from other parts of the Star Wars universe such as “Rogue One,” “Obi-Wan Kenobi,” “Andor,” and “The Clone Wars.” This game will be accessible on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

August 2024’s PS Plus games will be available for download through Sept. 2.

For those who are PS Plus members, you have until August 5th to grab July’s PlayStation Plus Essential titles – Borderlands 3, NHL 24, and Among Us.

Sony Interactive Entertainment’s PlayStation Plus Essential is the most basic level of their subscription plan. This tier grants access to online multiplayer games, provides a selection of free PS4 and PS5 games each month, offers cloud storage for saved games, and includes discounts on PlayStation Store purchases. The annual cost of PlayStation Plus Essential is $79.99, three months can be purchased for $24.99, or you can opt for a monthly fee of $9.99 – a price that increased last August.
