Kathie Lee Gifford has been hospitalized after falling and fracturing her pelvis in two places.

The former co-host of “Live with Regis and Kathie Lee” informed People magazine on Tuesday that she had an accidental fall shortly following her hip replacement operation, and she spent over a week in the hospital undergoing physical therapy treatments.

Gifford, who is 70 years old, got hurt as he rushed towards the door, “a little pressure was all it took since I had a weak spot there.”

“Soon after, I found myself once again in the hospital, this time due to a fractured pelvis, both at the front and back. This pain was far greater than anything I’d experienced with my hip issue. She described the agony of her pelvis as beyond belief,” she shared with the outlet.

On the eve of her fall, the TV host and writer admitted that she had strained her body by manually transporting over 300 books for a book-signing event in Nashville.

She remarked, “You may believe you understand your body, but then, unexpectedly, it transforms as you grow older.” Despite my reluctance to accept it, this is the reality I’m facing now.

She mentioned, “God is suggesting I should take a break. I’ve spent my entire life rushing forward. God is advising me, ‘You’ve cultivated millions of roses. Now, take some time to enjoy their fragrance.'”
