As a lifestyle expert with years of experience under my belt, I must say that it’s always heartening to see people moving on and finding happiness after difficult times. It seems that Matthew McMah has found love again, and I applaud him for taking the first step towards healing.

After a high-profile divorce marked by domestic violence charges, Nikki Webster’s former spouse has since moved on and found new love.

Matthew McMahon’s marriage with his Sydney Olympics opening ceremony sweetheart turned sour following a heated argument they had on the roadside in 2019, which led to their public dispute.

Currently, the Qantas flight attendant, aged 44, has transitioned and is now in a relationship with Veronica Attard, a mother of two, whom he’s been discreetly seeing since 2022.

Last year, the joyful pair bought a house jointly in Sydney’s western region. They proudly displayed their new home on social media, smiling side by side under the ‘Sold’ sign.

McMah experiences happiness in his relationship, as his former well-known partner confessed to Woman’s Day Magazine that she continues to seek love following the dissolution of their marriage.

37-year-old singer mentioned that due to focusing on bringing up her two kids, finding the perfect partner had become less of a priority in her life.

In my perspective, I harbor a quiet optimism that the perfect match will eventually cross my path, almost as if destiny is guiding the process. Yet, I am profoundly content and fulfilled in my role as a mother; it’s an honor and joy unparalleled, making it undoubtedly my most cherished vocation on this planet.

But Nikki admitted she did not even know where to now begin looking for love.

‘What do you do, where do you go? Online dating is a whole new world,’ she admitted.

Previously, the young entertainer gained recognition during the launch of the 2000 Summer Games in Sydney, and subsequently dominated music charts with her popular song “Strawberry Kisses.”

In 2010, while on a romantic vacation in Fiji, McMahon asked Webster to marry him. This proposal came approximately two and a half years into their relationship when they had been dating for some time.

The former couple tied the knot in 2012 and share children, Skylah, 9, and Malachi, 6.

Their marriage came to a dramatic end in 2019 when the pair got into a heated argument.

McMah parked his vehicle outside Nikki’s dance studio in Leichhardt, an area of western Sydney, while Webster stepped out, opening the car door and peering inside.

Later, as stated in the official report, McMahon gradually advanced the vehicle a brief span and came to a halt.

Instead of demanding, he insisted she shut the door. When she failed to do so, he exited the room and seized her arms tightly, inflicting instant discomfort that made her stumble and collapse on the floor.

Webster then ran into the studio and called police.

After being apprehended, McMahon stated to the officers that he “tugged her arm from the vehicle, causing her to stumble when he released her grip.”

He was convicted of common assault, domestic violence, and fined $800.
