The Chase’s Vixen Jenny Ryan reveals whether she’ll return after new career move
As a die-hard fan of Jenny Ryan, also known as The Vixen on The Chase, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and anticipation for her upcoming UK tour, Out of the Box. Her decision to showcase her softer side outside of her stern role on The Chase is nothing short of brave, much like attempting to outrun The Beast without using a lifeline!
Actress Jenny Ryan, famously known as “The Vixen” from the hit show “The Chase,” has shared if we can expect her back on ITV following her recent professional transition.
Our game show specialist has unveiled her exclusive UK tour titled “Out of the Box.” This entertaining journey will be taking place at various locations across the nation, starting from September and running through November.
During a chat on Good Morning Britain, Jenny was questioned by co-host Ranvir Singh about whether she’d be back to hosting The Chase once her tour concludes.
Gladly, she agreed, and while doing so, Jenny cautioned me about the potential risks of revealing my more vulnerable side in gaming competitions, given that I’ve been portraying a tough character on The Chase for such a long time.
“We took the show to Edinburgh Fringe last year really on sort of a whim,” she explained.
Taking on something fresh or different, as presenters often find, can be quite daring given a previous serious portrayal. It requires an audience to adjust their preconceived notions and anticipations about you.
As a fan, I shared parts of my personal journey, laying bare my background and emotions – quite a daring move, I must admit. But it paid off spectacularly! We completely sold out at the Fringe Festival, and the response was nothing short of fantastic.
As a longtime fan of “The Chase” and Jenny Ryan’s quick-witted performances as The Vixen, I was thrilled to learn that she is stepping out from behind the quiz show desk for an intimate evening of song, storytelling, and behind-the-scenes secrets. Having followed her career since its inception, I have always admired Jenny’s intelligence, wit, and charisma, and I am eager to see what she has in store for us in this unique event. This promises to be an unforgettable night filled with laughter, insight, and perhaps a few surprises along the way. I can’t wait to join Jenny “Out of the Box”!
Experience a voyage through Jenny’s life and era by enjoying some of her cherished songs, performed live with the impressive vocal prowess that left the X Factor Celebrity judges astounded.
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
