Pokémon Go Steelix Raid: Best Moveset, Counters and Tips
As a seasoned gamer with countless hours spent traversing virtual worlds, I can confidently say that battling Steelix in Pokémon Go is no walk in the park. This Tier 3 Raid Boss might be long and silvery gray, but don’t let its serpentine shape fool you – it packs a punch!
As a dedicated Pokémon Go enthusiast, I’m excited to share some insights about Steelix, a formidable Tier 3 Raid Boss in our beloved game. This serpentine-shaped Pokémon is long and boasts a sleek, silvery-gray body. Interestingly, it has three sections adorned with blunt gray spikes that protrude from its rocky segments.
Steelix in Pokémon Go
Steelix is a Pokémon that belongs to both Steel and Ground types, with a maximum Combat Power (CP) of 2729 when it’s at level 50. It’s particularly vulnerable to Fighting, Fire, Water, and Ground-type attacks. Despite having several counter options, I’d advise you to bring at least two or three team members, even if you’re an experienced player, due to Steelix’s strong defense capabilities.
Steelix Moveset
In the move repertoire of Steelix, the most effective attacks are Iron Tail and Earthquake. These two moves together have a combined Damage Per Second (DPS) of 69.4. This combination is ideal for both Pokémon Gym battles and Player vs. Player (PvP) encounters. Additionally, other viable options from Steelix’s movepool include Thunder Fang, Dragon Tail, Heavy Slam, and Crunch, among others.
