Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO Trailer Showcases Characters From the Saiyan and Namek Sagas

As a die-hard Dragon Ball Z fan who grew up watching Goku and Vegeta’s epic battles unfold on my old CRT TV, I can hardly contain my excitement for Bandai Namco’s latest offering, Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO. The new trailer has sent me back to the days of Saiyan and Namek sagas, rekindling memories of the fierce rivalry between Goku and Vegeta.

Bandai Namco has unveiled a fresh trailer for “Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO.” In this preview, we get a glimpse of characters hailing from the initial two arcs of Dragon Ball Z – Saiyan and Namek. The introduction of these storylines marked the beginning of Goku and Vegeta’s legendary rivalry, with the Saibamen becoming part of Sparking! ZERO’s roster. Additionally, Chiaotzu, a dear friend to Tien Shinhan who often joins forces with Goku, is included in the game as well.

In the Namek Saga, Cui, Dodoria, and Zarbon from Frieza’s elite troops team up with Vegeta, Gohan, Krillin, Goku, and the remaining members of the Ginryu Corps such as Guldo, Recoome, and Ginryu himself. The formidable Namekian warrior Nail also joins the battle, along with Frieza’s First Form, Second Form, Third Form, Fourth Form, and the powerful Full Power Fourth Form. Witness it all in the trailer below.

Starting 11th October, Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is set to release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms. Pre-orders come with the added perk of early access to seven playable characters: Gogeta, Super Saiyan Gogeta, God Super Saiyan Gogeta, Broly, Super Saiyan Broly, and Full Power Broly. An additional unrevealed character is also up for grabs in this pre-order bonus package.
