Rob Lowe reveals St. Elmo’s Fire sequel is in ‘early stages’ 39 years after ‘Brat Pack’ film hit theaters

1. In an unusual move, the well-known mimic Rob won the part of womanizing Billy “The Kid” Hicks over Robert Downey Jr., by walking into his audition with a six-pack of Heineken beers under his arm.
Forty years later, it’s uncertain what perspective Lowe holds on his character following his contemplation of divorcing Jenny Wright, who is the mother of his child, in the film’s conclusion.

On June 7th, Moore attended the Tribeca Film Festival premieres of Ally and Andrew’s critically-adored Hulu docuseries about the “brat pack” cast. The series has already racked up an impressive 244 million minutes of viewership.
