As a longtime fan of Gareth Gates, I can’t help but feel a mix of amusement and admiration after hearing about his latest revelation concerning Simon Cowell’s office mirror. As a loyal admirer, I can’t help but shower praises on Simon, who is 64 years young. However, in our recent conversation, I may have accidentally revealed one of his secret beauty tips, which might make him blush a little.

On the “My Dirty Laundry” podcast, Gareth expressed surprise upon learning about the specific object Simon keeps in his office to bolster his self-confidence.

The first time I visited his office, I entered and noticed a mirror adorned on the wall reflecting back: “You are the most beautiful, Simon, in all the land.”

1. I assure you, this is genuine. A moment of surprise crossed my face, thinking, “Could this be authentic?” To which he responded affirmatively: “Indeed, it’s true, my dear.”

It’s unclear to me whether that was a humorous present or not. I can picture him using it regularly, though.

Gareth expressed his gratitude towards Simon Cowell, sharing that he was one of his earliest supporters during his participation in “Pop Idol.”

1. “Indeed, we shared the same label, forming a strong bond. Occasionally, we cross paths, but let me tell you, Simon is an exceptional individual. There’s an irritating aspect about him – he’s usually correct.”

At the interview, Gareth shared that he maintains a connection with his music industry rival Will. There’s a possibility they could face off against each other in the music charts once more.

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Will for a long time now, and I can honestly say that he’s an incredible guy. We’ve been through thick and thin together, experiences that were as challenging as they were rewarding. It’s hard to believe that Pop Idol was the pioneer in reality singing competitions, launching long before X Factor even existed. The memories we made during that time are priceless.

We found ourselves in uncharted waters. We were tossed into this situation rather abruptly, and as it turned out, we relied heavily on one another for support.

And yeah, it was, you know, as a result of that, we became really, really good friends.

Gareth is set to begin his own-produced tour, “Gareth Gates Sings Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons.”

He expressed: “I truly enjoy performing these songs. Frankie Valli tunes are a must-have in every one of my tours.”

1. “I must say, the response to my songs has been fantastic! By the way, the tour kicks off on the 29th of September and continues for three weeks in October. We’ll be visiting significant cities across the United Kingdom.”
