As a lifestyle expert and someone who values the power of community and support, I am deeply moved by Domenica Calarco’s unwavering dedication to her friend and fellow Australian, Harry Garside. Despite his heartbreaking loss at the Olympics, Domenica has rallied around him with unyielding enthusiasm and encouragement, sharing in his journey every step of the way.

On Mondays disappointing Olympics outcome, Domenica Calarco has shown support for her I’m A Celebrity…Get me Out Of Here! colleague Harry Garside.

In the men’s 63.5kg weight class, Garside’s dream of earning boxing gold in Paris was shattered when he faced off against Hungary’s Richard Kovacs and lost in a unanimous decision during their first fight.

On Monday before their upcoming fight, Domenica from Married At First Sight, who is 31 years old, expressed her support for Harry, 27, through a collection of images and videos on her Instagram story.

In one image, Domenica prepared for the upcoming contest, donning a “Team Garside” hoodie and sipping on a steaming cup of coffee.

Captioning the image, ‘Let’s f***ing go,’

After that, she presented a brief video clip: it displayed a laptop broadcasting the combat, with Harry and his rival making their way to the ring.

1. “Domenica’s anticipation peaked, prompting her to title the video, ‘I had to silence myself since I was shouting.'”

1. Another photo, displaying Harry getting ready to battle Kovacs in the ring, was labeled “@HarryGarside we are all so proud of you from your family.” Domenica also tagged her fellow I’m A Celebrity cast members: Liz Ellis, Aesha Scott, Nathan Henry, Adam Cooney, Nick Cummins, Debra Lawrence, Peter Helliar, and Bianca Hunt. (In simpler terms, a second picture of Harry preparing to fight Kovacs in the ring was called out with pride by his family on social media, and Domenica included other I’m A Celebrity co-stars in the post.)

Although many celebrities showed their support, it wasn’t Garside’s lucky evening. Yet, Domenica continued to stand by her with undeterred backing.

She shared a second video showing the boxer’s heartbreaking post-fight interview.

The disappointed boxer in the video lamented, “I can’t believe Australia is so into sports. I truly apologize and feel utterly defeated at this moment.”

In the caption, Domenica praised Harry’s behavior leading up to his Olympic bid as “first-rate” or “impeccable.”

1. “I’m incredibly proud of you, Harry Garside (@harrygarside). Your composure during your Olympic preparation and beyond is truly admirable – you’re a true gentleman.”

2023 saw Harry’s former fellow contestants on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Australia express their backing for him, following his acquittal from all domestic assault accusations.

At Sydney Airport in May, a 25-year-old man was taken into police custody upon his arrival from filming a reality show for Channel 10 in South Africa.

After several athletes took a break for dinner at Rick Shores in Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast, they all rejoiced together.

Aesha Scott, Domenica Calarco, Nathan Henry, Anna Polyviou along with her partner, as well as Adam Cooney and his spouse Haylea were all present.
