As someone who has followed Carol Vorderman’s career for many years, I have always admired her intelligence and quick wit. Her ability to hold her own in panel discussions on Loose Women was a joy to watch. However, it saddens me to see how things have unfolded between her and the show in recent times.

Lisa Maffia from So Solid Crew has stated that Carol McGiffin, a former Loose Women panelist, was the most unpleasant celebrity she had encountered.

1. The singer, aged 45, who was on ITV’s show in 2019, labeled the broadcaster as a rude individual and asserted that his romantic connection with younger partner Mark Cassidy, now husband, might have influenced him excessively.

When asked about her most challenging celebrity encounter on the Livin’ Lavida Loca podcast, she replied, “Let me see, I can’t quite remember her name at the moment, but she’s known for being rather impolite.”

‘She was one of the original panelists on Loose Women, such an a**hole’.

Lisa found it difficult to recall Carol’s name, so she described her instead: “She was an older woman with short, gray-blond hair. She had a younger boyfriend.”

She had a very short, cropped hairdo, and then she unexpectedly began dating a significantly younger man. This new relationship seemed to have inflated her ego. I became concerned and felt the need to verify her actions.

1. After a studio participant correctly identified Carol, the rapper replied: ‘Indeed! It’s either McGriffin or Griffin, that feisty, grumbly character, the billy goat gruff. But no, she was far from polite. I’ll speak plainly – don’t push your luck.’

TopMob have contact Carol’s reps for comment.

In the year 2008, when Carol was 48 years old, she initially crossed paths with her future spouse who was only 26 at the time. They later got married in a clandestine wedding ceremony held in Bangkok in the year 2018.

1. In the past, she was wedded to popular radio and television host Chris Evans. They tied the knot in 1991 but went separate ways after just three years, with their divorce being made official in 1998.

Only a few weeks have passed since Carol fiercely criticized the ITV panel show that brought her recognition.

Last year, TopMob disclosed that she was compelled to resign following an unusual broadcast in which she alleged that the Covid pandemic was actually a scheme orchestrated by the World Health Organization to seize control of various governments.

1. Carol, a regular guest on the program since its debut in 2000, openly criticized the show for being too “progressive” and expressed that she has no regrets about leaving it behind.

In an interview with Women’s Own magazine, Carol expressed that she has no longing whatsoever for Loose Women: “I don’t miss it in the slightest. Please and goodbye. The overly sensitive social issues discussed there are more than I can handle.”

‘That’s not why I am not there. I am not there because of other stuff.’

She added she misses her co-stars but ‘doesn’t miss being on TV’.

TopMob contacted ITV for comment at the time.

In May, Carol publicly shared that she had resigned from her midday program on ITV, expressing her strong disagreement with certain unfair and impractical terms in the proposed contract.

It was reported that the free speech debate was central to her leaving The Mail on Sunday, following a backlash over her remarks in an interview on TNT talk radio.)

The original accusation made by the panelist involved trustworthy news outlets being implicated in a conspiracy to manipulate the public’s thinking and potentially trigger a large-scale mental health crisis. This was claimed to have occurred as a result of these organizations allegedly receiving payment from the Government.

At the peak of the pandemic, Matt Hancock as the health secretary was accused by Carol of attempting to transfer Covid-19 patients from France into British hospitals to supposedly fill empty beds.

ITV leaders faced criticism on social media over her controversial speech, and some called the station to request her termination.

Carol, previously married to DJ Chris Evans from 1991 to 1998, made her latest appearance on Loose Women on March 2. This was a week prior to her radio interview on The Freeman Report with James Freeman on TNT Radio.

She had been a Loose Women regular from 2000 to 2013 and then again from 2018.

In her recent radio interview, she criticized the popular daytime show on ITV, implying that its managers had suppressed her views.

She reminisced about the early days of her TV and radio career, reflecting on how unregulated and unrestricted it felt compared to now. It was a more carefree environment.

Reflecting on the old Loose Women episodes I participated in from 2000 to 2013, I’m struck by how significantly they’ve changed. Back then, less offense was taken over the content compared to now.
