Love Island finalists look incredible in elegant gowns after getting glammed up for final declarations – as Sean shocks Matilda with a confession
As I reflect on my own experiences with love and relationships, I can’t help but be in awe of the raw emotions and heartfelt declarations shared by the Islanders on Love Island. Their journey of self-discovery and connection resonates deeply with me, as I too have gone through the rollercoaster ride of falling in love.
As a devoted fan following the Love Island journey, I can tell you that the finalists spent their last evening in the Mallorcan villa before ITV2’s grand finale. They shared precious moments together, knowing this could be their last night as a group after being isolated from the outside world for two whole months.
In the finale on Monday night, the last four couples will prepare and be dressed up in scenic sets for their final professions of love.
Among the contestants making it to the last round are Nicole Samuel and Ciaran Davies, Matilda Draper and Sean Stone, Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan, and Jessica Spencer along with Ayo Odukoya.
In the images from the episode, the group is seen dressed elegantly in gowns and suits while expressing their feelings to their respective couples, concluding their experience.
At the villa, the 24-year-old Nicole entered the garden in an eye-catching red dress without straps, leaving everyone amazed. Simultaneously, Matilda, likewise 24, turned heads with her stunning gold dress adorned with beads.
Ciaran is left speechless as he looks at Nicole, amazed, since she’s the first person who has ever left him without words to express his thoughts.
As Ayo wonders if they’re getting married, Jessica’s entrance into the garden is equally captivating, adorned in a beautiful pearl gown.
I could hardly contain my excitement as I was among the first to arrive, exclaiming aloud, “Wow, check out all of you!” Dressed radiantly in a shimmering black sequin gown, I turned to my friend Josh and excitedly declared, “She’s absolutely killing it, man.”
Toward the end of their stay at the Villa, the last four couples express their heartfelt declarations of love.
“Sean shares his deep feelings for Matilda, admitting, ‘I must confess, I’m feeling rather anxious.’ As he concludes, he adds with a tremble in his voice, ‘But there is one more thing…'”
“Sean intends to reveal something to Matilda, and this disclosure could significantly impact their relationship as they leave Love Island and face new challenges together.”
On their last day in the villa, the girls choose to prepare a special breakfast as a token of appreciation for the boys.
As they put together fruit dishes in the kitchen, Matilda and the others intended to sneak up and astonish the boys in their bedroom. She expressed, “We made this for you as a surprise, it’s your last breakfast.”
The girls get back into bed with the boys, sharing a festive beverage, as they enjoy their breakfast on elegantly adorned golden dishes.
The Villa won’t have to wait long before receiving a text. The message states: “Islanders, Tonight is the night for a unique finalists’ dinner. Gentlemen, prepare yourselves for departure and getting ready for an unforgettable date. Ladies, enhance your looks and be prepared for heartfelt expressions. #FeelingFresh #SpeakFromTheHeart”
The boys head out of the Villa as whilst the girls put pen to paper back at the villa.
Later that day the boys head out into the garden suited and booted as they await the girls.
Josh raises a toast in the garden, proposing a cheer to “here’s to lovely relationships, enduring friendships, and an amazing future.”
During dinner, the Islanders reminisce about their favorite memories from the Villa this past summer.
Matilda shared: “The most cherished moment for me was when Sean’s family met ours for the first time. It felt surreal.”
After making it public, Nicole then shares her best moment by expressing: “I believe that was when Ciaran proposed and asked me to be his girlfriend.”
As the evening unfolds, Matilda says: ‘Guy’s there’s so much love in the air.’
As we near the conclusion of our stay at the Villa, my loved one and I, along with three other devoted couples, prepare to express our deepest feelings and declarations of love.
I’ve been there myself, feeling unexpectedly emotional, not fully understanding why. But then I recall the unique connection and deeper bond I’ve built with someone special. It’s a feeling that catches me off guard, as it goes beyond what I had ever anticipated.

I can’t help but reminisce about the day you entered our love story in the Villa, Ciaran. Your entrance was marked by the biggest, most irresistible grin I had ever seen.
When I approached you, the first thing out of your lips was “alright love, I’m Ciaran, nice to meet you,” and my response was “Are you Welsh?” At that very moment, my heart began racing with excitement.
Mimii shares her feelings with Josh, expressing “You’re considerate, caring, soft-spoken, and affectionate. I appreciate how you’ve shown me that such traits still exist in today’s world.”
After a heartfelt hug, Josh confessed his feelings to Mimii by saying, “You told me nobody has ever penned a poem for you. I pledged to change that, so I hope you enjoy this one I wrote for you.”
As the sun sets and their stay at the villa comes to an end, Sean suggests, “Maybe we should do one more thing before we leave – let’s take a dip in the pool one last time.”
Islanders clad in lengthy dresses and well-tailored clothes dash toward the garden and make a beeline for the pool.
Following an exhilarating summer filled with challenges, unexpected events, and sudden changes, the Villa is brimming with joy as the Islanders happily splash around in the pool, celebrating in blissful moments as the final four couples exuberantly exclaim: “We’re in Love Island!”
