Funko Fusion Story Trailer Reveals Clancy Brown as the Game's Villain Eddy Funko

As a long-time gamer with a soft spot for story-driven adventures and collectible characters, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming release of Funko Fusion! The announcement that Clancy Brown, an iconic voice actor known for his menacing roles in films like The Shawshank Redemption and Highlander, will be lending his talents to the game as the sinister Eddy, is nothing short of brilliant.

Clancy Brown, renowned for his menacing roles as the prison guard in The Shawshank Redemption, the immortal villain in Highlander, and Sgt. Zim in Starship Troopers, has been unveiled by 10:10 Games as the voice behind the antagonist in Funko Fusion.

At Comic-Con, a new story trailer unveiled Eddy’s role voiced by Brown. Eddy is described as having a deeply disturbed and incredibly powerful ability to transform into different shapes. He taps into his dark powers, taking control of various inhabitants in Funko Fusion’s pop culture-inspired realms, creating an army of misaligned characters.

Among the selection are Funko figurines featuring famous characters from Jurassic World, Back to the Future, The Thing, Chucky (Child’s Play), Battlestar Galactica, Jaws, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Masters of the Universe, Invincible, The Walking Dead, The Mummy, Voltron, Nope, and The Umbrella Academy.

Kellen Goff, the voice actor, is set to return as Freddy Fazbear in “Funko Fusion.” In this game, you’ll be leading a squad of heroes, all possessing distinct talents. “Funko Fusion” is slated for release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on September 13th. The PS4 and Switch editions will then become available on November 15th.
