Watch the terrifying trailer for From season 3, premiering this September
As a long-time fan of the Fromville series, I can’t help but feel a mix of excitement and trepidation as I watch the season 3 trailer. The opening lines from Harold Perrineau’s character, Boyd Stevens, echo my own sentiments exactly. We’re still in this thing, but we have no idea what lies ahead.
In the beginning of the season 3 trailer, Harold Perrineau’s character, Boyd Stevens, remarks, “We’re still in this, but we’re clueless about what we’re facing.” As the interim sheriff, people rely on Boyd for direction following the chaotic events of the season 2 finale.
Previously, in Fromville’s tale, Boyd played a pivotal role in rescuing Julie, Mari, and Randall who had fallen into the clutches of an enigmatic entity that responded to a music box. Boyd annihilated the music box, leading to their release. However, numerous puzzling questions remain unanswered following the intriguing twists and turns of the conclusion.
In the trailer for season 3, Jim (played by Eion Bailey) expresses concern over the worsening situation in Fromville, to which I can only agree. The townsfolk are now grappling with a fresh crisis: impending starvation as their food supplies dwindle. Yet, it’s important to remember that death might not be the most terrible fate in a place like this, cursed as it is.
The preview hints at Tabitha’s upcoming experiences as she leaves Fromville behind. Tabitha, portrayed by Catalina Sandino Moreno and married to Jim, makes a daring escape from the town in the season 2 finale after being pushed off a tower by the mysterious boy in white. She regains consciousness in a hospital outside of town, marking the last we’ve seen of her for now.
She’s expected to encounter some new individuals based on the footage; it reveals her interacting with a priest in a confession booth, followed by her stay at another person’s residence where he unsettlingly proposes she explores his basement.
