Kim Kardashian makes surprise appearance at Walmart for glamorous photoshoot to promote her energy drink brand

Kim Kardashian made a surprise appearance at Walmart to promote her new Update energy drinks.

The 45-year-old reality TV star posted photoshoot pictures to advertise her new business while customers were shopping at a local supermarket.

On Sunday, she posted photos showing herself next to a bright collection of energy drinks without caffeine, announcing with a short caption that they are now sold at Walmart.

She was wearing a completely black outfit, with low-slung nylon pants that highlighted her waist, as she posed while standing in the store’s drink aisle.

She was also drinking an energy drink while posing for a picture next to the blocked-off shopping lanes.

Earlier this year, the reality star faced online criticism after people claimed she edited one of her advertisements. She had previously revealed that she became a co-founder of the company as part of its new branding effort.

She looked stunning for her photoshoot, with a full hairstyle and comfortable loungewear – likely pieces from her own Skims line.

She wore a cropped, zip-up jacket paired with a bodysuit and oversize, dramatically long pants.

She had long, dark hair styled in loose, beachy waves, and her makeup featured a sun-kissed glow with defined contours.

Just after being seen with Lewis Hamilton in Tokyo, seemingly on a date, she was spotted shopping at Walmart.

She posted photos from a photoshoot she did with Walmart as speculation continues about a romantic relationship with the 41-year-old Formula One driver, even though they are currently separated by a large distance.

She appeared to be staying on top of her many businesses even while enjoying time off in Japan.

Okay, so like, I was totally losing it when Kim announced she’s working with Update! I mean, it’s amazing! She’s not just a reality star, she’s a businesswoman, and she’s going to help completely revamp and relaunch them. I’m seriously so excited to see what she does – it’s going to be HUGE!

Oh my gosh, she posted the most adorable pictures and videos with those pastel paint cans back in February, and people immediately started claiming she photoshopped them! It’s ridiculous, honestly. Like, can’t she just have fun and be cute without everyone accusing her of faking it? It totally bothered me, because she always looks amazing, with or without filters!

People reacted strongly to the photos, with some claiming they didn’t resemble her at all. Others accused Kardashian of digitally changing her nose and smoothing out the lines around her mouth.

To showcase her new focus-boosting drink—which contains no caffeine or sugar—she posted a video showing herself enjoying it while getting ready for a photoshoot: getting her hair and makeup done, reviewing scripts, and posing for the camera.

She said that when she started working with the team, her first priority was redesigning the packaging to be simpler and more geared towards men, reflecting her personal preference for that style.

Instead of focusing on Kim Kardashian’s new business project, many people online were more interested in discussing what they perceived as changes to her appearance in the advertisements.

Many of her fans reacted to the photo on Reddit, with some expressing disbelief that it was genuine. Others resurfaced rumors about her having plastic surgery, despite her past denials.

On X, people commented that Kim Kardashian resembled her daughter Chicago in a recent photo, with some suggesting the picture might have been edited using AI.

Forbes reports that Update is being relaunched with Kim Kardashian joining as a cofounder, three years after its initial release.

The wealthy businesswoman liked the startup’s product so much that she offered to join their team and assist with the relaunch.

The new energy drink uses an ingredient other than caffeine to help prevent sudden mood swings, according to its description.

According to the product details, this update utilizes paraxanthine, a substance the body creates from caffeine, instead of caffeine directly. The company claims this method avoids the negative side effects often associated with energy drinks, like crashes, jitters, and overstimulation.

According to a Forbes press release, the reality star first started using the product for extra energy in 2023. They began sharing their thoughts on it without being asked the following year, which eventually led to a formal partnership.
