Drew Barrymore gives rare glimpse at her eclectic bedroom – including wallpaper on the CEILING – as she packs for upcoming trip to Australia
I have always been captivated by Drew Barrymore’s vibrant energy and resilience, both on and off-screen. Her recent announcement about joining the Wanderlust tour in Australia to share her life story left me feeling excited and intrigued.
In an Instagram reel posted on Thursday, Drew Barrymore provided a seldom-seen peek into her personal bedroom while preparing for her journey to Australia.
Actress Cameron Diaz from Charlie’s Angels, age 49, opened up about her personal struggle with self-doubt, and in preparation for a vacation, she recorded a selfie video listing the things she intended to pack.
The star is heading to Sydney for two nights, starting August 2, to participate in Wanderlust’s True North wellness event.
In her bathroom, Barrymore began recording by saying to her audience, “Alright, I’m getting ready for a trip to Australia!”
With a sweep of her camera, she revealed a white sink filled with an assortment of objects and a sizable makeup bag resting on its edge.
“I’m getting myself ready,” Drew mentioned as she walked out of the bathroom and into her ample bedroom.
The star approached her disheveled bed, where a bench stood laden with miniature suitcases and scattered clothes.
After that, she grabbed a plastic bag and went on, “I have my books, camera, film, and the exquisite suitcase we’re designing together – it’s just so charming…”
On her show, Drew Barrymore displayed an unpacked, tiny, dark-red suitcase as she made her way back toward the attached bathroom.
While she carried out this action, the audience got a more comprehensive look at her bedroom with numerous paintings adorning the walls and ample windows letting in plenty of sunlight.
As I stepped into the room, my eyes were drawn upwards to the intricately patterned wallpaper that adorned the ceiling. Down below, vibrant rugs gracefully draped over the wooden floor, revealing only a peek of its natural beauty.
Across the room, facing the bed from a distant spot, sat two chairs and a desk tucked away in the corner by a window.
A smaller table, adorned with yellow floral chairs on both sides, was placed beneath the paintings and featured a cozy dog bed in front of it.
“We’re headed to Australia now, I can’t wait to meet you all in person,” the actress expressed near the end of the video.
She expressed her intention to discuss wellness in a genuine manner, adding with a chuckle, “As you can see in me, right?”
Barrymore concluded the video from a transitional space between the bathroom and the main bedroom, which seemed to function as a wardrobe, with garments hanging at its rear.
In the caption, Drew announced, “I’m headed to Australia next! Looking forward to connecting with everyone for two inspiring nights at @wanderlustausnz. Can’t wait to share genuine wellness insights with you all!”
In February of last year, the Ever After actress shared with her followers a peek at her disorganized bedroom prior to and after giving it a good clean.
During that period, she displayed an untidy room filled with different boxes and things scattered on the floor, accompanied by mountains of papers, books, and perhaps scripts next to the bed.
Later on in the video, the scene shifted to show the star with a satisfied expression as she had recently cleaned both her bedroom and bathroom.
On August 2, the star is scheduled to make a visit to ICC Sydney Theatre, followed by a stop at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre on August 3.
