Molly-Mae Hague confessed she doesn’t usually spend a lot of effort on cooking before appearing on Celebrity Bake Off.
Former Love Island contestant, age 26, will be competing on a special celebrity edition of The Great British Bake Off to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer, alongside JoJo Siwa and Scott Mills. She’ll be showing off her baking abilities on the show.
In a new interview, Molly-Mae opened up about her culinary habits.
She admitted to The Mirror that she doesn’t often have cooking disasters because she’s simply too lazy to cook elaborate meals. She explained that she doesn’t put much effort into everyday cooking, so there aren’t many opportunities for things to go wrong!
She also revealed that she received a little help in preparation for the show.
I have a wonderful friend named Kate who bakes cakes for me when I need them, like for birthdays. She came over a few times so we could test out some recipes together.
Earlier this year, Molly baked a cake for her three-year-old daughter, Bambi, who she shares with her partner, Tommy Fury.
She shared photos of the celebration on Instagram, including pictures from the night before when she baked a birthday cake for Bambi.
The 26-year-old posted pictures of the messy kitchen, showing the effort they put into making a goody bag-shaped birthday cake.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m always inspired by creative celebrations, and Molly-Mae truly delivers for her daughter’s birthdays! She’s become known for making incredibly detailed, themed cakes each year – the last couple have been particularly magical, featuring a charming pony stable and a whimsical candy house. It’s all about making those memories extra special!
The influencer shared last month that she and Tommy are expecting their second child, and she’s already six months along in her pregnancy.
Last month, Molly-Mae used Instagram to share photos documenting her pregnancy, including pictures of her growing baby bump.
She shared a collection of photos that included a recent ultrasound image of her baby, which she projected onto a wall. Her daughter, Bambi, was looking up at the image with curiosity.
The scan unexpectedly showed Molly-Mae’s due date, and fans immediately noticed and started commenting about it.
The ultrasound showed she was 24 weeks and 6 days pregnant on February 26th, putting her expected due date around June 12th.
Fans commented: ‘Due date is 2 days before me✨’, ‘June baby like my first ❤️.’
Molly shared that the couple already knows if they’re having a boy or a girl and have chosen a name, but they’re waiting to announce it publicly later.
Last month, people thought she might have revealed whether she’s having a boy or a girl in a YouTube video, believing it was a slip-up.
The reality star hinted she’s expecting another daughter after calling her baby bump ‘she’ while showing it off to fans in a video.
She excitedly shared her growing baby bump with everyone, saying she’s almost 24 weeks pregnant and it’s becoming more noticeable each day. She explained she’s making a conscious effort to enjoy and appreciate her changing body this time, as she wished she had done so more during her previous pregnancy. She proudly showed it off, saying, ‘Here it is!’
People immediately noticed the comment and started speculating that the TV personality is pregnant with another daughter.
They wrote: ‘Molly-Mae is having a GIRL?’, ‘THERE SHE IS!’, ‘Did you say ‘Here SHE is’??’
However, some people believed she was simply talking about her baby bump, not whether the baby was a girl. One person explained, ‘She’s talking about the bump itself; I used to refer to my own bump as ‘she,’ so it seems like she’s just talking about the physical shape of her pregnancy.’
She keeps talking about her own feelings, not the baby’s. She mentions this frequently. If she accidentally said something she didn’t mean, she likely would have removed it when reviewing the recording.
