Patsy Palmer is spotted near the EastEnders set as she sparks rumours she is set to return to the BBC soap after brief appearance this year

As a lifestyle expert and avid fan of soap operas, I’m thrilled to see that EastEnders is bringing back some beloved characters for their 40th anniversary. The recent sighting of Patsy Palmer on the set has sparked much excitement amongst fans, as her character Bianca Jackson was last seen leaving Walford in a drunken stupor.

Recently, photographs emerged showing Patsy Palmer in the vicinity of the EastEnders filming location, fueling rumors that she might be making a comeback to Albert Square.

An actress, age 52, recognized for portraying Bianca Jackson in a lengthy soap opera, briefly graced the screen of the show this year.

Instead, the newly released photos hint that she could be coming back for an extended stay before the soap opera celebrates its 40th anniversary in the following year.

Recently, Patsy took on the character of Bianca once more for a brief stint in the show, during Shona McGarty’s departure scene.

Bianca accompanied her daughter Whitney (or Shona) to Walford, but Whitney didn’t stay long and chose to pack up and leave instead.

After having an argument with her sister Sonia and her partner Reiss, Bianca chose to depart from the Square once more.

Before leaving, she revealed to Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) that she had been struggling with depression during emotionally charged moments.

Onlookers saw Bianca, who had sworn to start anew in a different place, climb into her minivan while under the influence.

Prior to leaving, Bianca revealed to Reiss that she believed he had taken money from Debbie’s incapacitated condition to finance his IVF procedure with Sonia using the ill-gotten gains.

After that incident, Reiss has taken the lives of Debbie, while Sonia remains oblivious, believing she is carrying a child with a murderer.

So Bianca may be back to expose Reiss or hopefully not become his next victim.

As a seasoned TV show enthusiast who has been following “EastEnders” for decades, I’m thrilled to hear that some beloved stars are set to return for the upcoming anniversary episodes. Among them are David Wicks, portrayed by Michael French, and Chrissie Watts, brilliantly brought to life by Tracy-Ann Oberman. Their presence will surely add depth and intrigue to the storyline, transporting us back in time and reminding us of the rich history of this iconic British soap opera. Can’t wait to see them on our screens once again!

Chris Clenshaw, our boss, shared with The Sun, “With our company approaching its 40-year milestone, I believe the sentimental aspect holds significant value.”

‘Into the autumn and the end of the year, we’ve got quite a few treats coming up.’

From a passionate fan’s perspective, when I inquired about potential comebacks for beloved characters, Chris hesitated with a thoughtful response: “Perhaps. The tale and each character’s journey play significant roles in determining their return.”

‘But it has to come from character, it has to come from story.’
