I have always been in awe of Celine Dion’s resilience and strength, both as a musician and as a person. Her recent return to Paris brought back memories of the city’s beauty and joy, but also reminded me of her heart-wrenching battle with loss.

Celine Dion is said to be close to finalizing the terms of her delayed residency at Resorts World Las Vegas, set to begin around November 2024 or early 2025, contingent upon the progression of her stiff person syndrome struggle.

A 56-year-old French-Canadian singer, who last performed live in March 2020, had originally agreed to a series of 10 shows at the Resorts World Theatre in 2021. However, this engagement was canceled several months prior to her public announcement of having a rare autoimmune neurological condition.

‘It’s basically a done deal. She’s doing it,’ an insider told TMZ on Wednesday.

Based on my personal perspective, I admire this woman’s unwavering determination and deep-rooted love for performing onstage. She isn’t being pressured or coerced into it by anyone; instead, she is driven by her own passion and desire to return to the spotlight. Her resolve is so strong that she’s prepared to face any challenges or obstacles head-on, refusing to let them hinder her from giving a captivating performance. It’s truly inspiring to see someone so committed to following their dreams, no matter what life throws at them.

Currently, no performer is slated to perform as the main act at the 4,700-capacity venue following Carrie Underwood’s conclusion of her Reflection residency on October 26, which is an eight-time Grammy winner. (Alternatively) After Carrie Underwood finishes her Reflection residency at the 4,700-seat venue on October 26, there isn’t any act scheduled yet to take over as the headliner.

At Resorts World Theatre, you’ll find a spacious stage measuring 13,550 square feet. This is accompanied by a powerful stage lift covering 576 square feet, capable of supporting an impressive weight of 86,400 lbs. Additionally, the theatre boasts 5,000 square feet of adjustable LED screens and 267 speakers for optimal audio experience.

Céline, the owner of a $1.2 million three-bedroom house in Henderson, Nevada, had an impressive run at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from 2011 to 2019. Her self-titled residency there grossed an impressive $296.2 million during its tenure. This followed her earlier residency between 2003 and 2007, which raked in a massive $385 million in gross earnings.

On July 3rd, according to The US Sun’s report, Dion has been given AEG’s unwavering backing. For the past eight months, she has been working closely with musicians and voice coaches in preparation for her upcoming 70-minute concert featuring her all-time greatest hits.

As a deeply devoted fan, I can only imagine the determination in the five-time Grammy winner’s voice as they declared, “I will return to the stage, no matter the obstacle, even if it means crawling.” (This is a paraphrase of the original quote where the first person perspective is maintained and the language is kept natural and easy to read.)

‘Even if I have to talk with my hands, I will. I will. I am Céline Dion.’

In the critically-acclaimed documentary “I Am: Celine Dion,” available now on Amazon Prime Video, Céline endured intense muscle spasms and other painful symptoms that were evident to viewers.

Dion is presently in Paris preparing for her reported $2M collaboration with 13-time Grammy winner Lady Gaga at the Summer Olympics’ opening ceremony, scheduled for this coming Friday beside the Seine River.

On Twitter, Thierry Moreau of Estelle Midi mentioned on Wednesday that Celine Dion and Lady Gaga practiced singing “La vie en rose” by Edith Piaf as a duet. For the performance, Celine Dion will wear a pink and black feather cape designed by Dior.

Each time I go back to Paris, I’m reminded of the countless beauties and joys yet to be discovered in our world. (I, a Quebec-native singer with an impressive following of 45.8 million on social media, shared this thought on X Wednesday.)

‘I love Paris, and I’m so happy to be back! Thank you to our wonderful friends at The Louvre!’

In her personal life, Céline is a mother of three boys: René-Charles, aged 23; and fraternal twins Eddy and Nelson, both turning 13. She was married to her late ex-manager René Angélil for 21 years before his passing due to throat cancer at the age of 73, in the year 2016.

Dion, who currently has 19.4 million monthly listeners on Spotify, was just 12 years old when this three-time divorced father allegedly invested heavily in her music career. He reportedly put his home up as collateral to finance her debut album “La voix du bon Dieu,” which was released in 1981.
