Jon Jones reacts to ABC lifting the ban on 12-6 elbows

As a longtime fan of mixed martial arts, I can’t help but be excited about the recent announcement from the Association of Boxing Commissions and Combative Sports Committee. You see, I remember back in 2009 when Jon Jones suffered his only “loss” against Matt Hamill. It was a disappointing moment for Jones and MMA fans alike, as he was disqualified for using a 12-6 elbow – a move that was banned at the time.

Jones posted on Instagram a picture from an old fight, captioned “Undefeated before and now, @danawhite let’s expunge that loss from the records.” However, I strongly disagree. If his win-breaking move was illegal at the time, then it remains a loss. Although ten years have passed, rules cannot be altered retroactively. It’s high time Jones acknowledges his past and focuses on future victories, which is more significant now.

Francis Ngannou has revealed what happened to his infant son

Francis Ngannou tragically lost his young son earlier this year and has now shared the reason behind Kobe’s death. “His brain had an unidentified malformation,” Ngannou explained. “He experienced two seizures, the first one occurred in Cameroon, we rushed him to the hospital but they couldn’t find anything. The second episode happened in Saudi Arabia, and once again, we took him to a hospital, but unfortunately, he didn’t make it.”

Losing a child is an indescribably painful experience. Yet, Ngannou demonstrates remarkable strength by openly discussing his grief and encouraging other men to express their emotions freely, without shame.

Alex Pereira shared a meme that has confused fans

Alex Pereira posted a meme on Instagram suggesting Dana White may have contacted him about an upcoming fight. Pereira captioned the post in Portuguese, “Call or don’t call.” Fans are excitedly debating the possibilities.

Pereira is often ready for last-minute fights, but it’s likely just a jest about future bouts. It’s highly unlikely he would join UFC 304’s lineup without a new match being arranged. Keeping an eye on him, though.
