Madden NFL 25 Gets a Gameplay Deep Dive Ahead of its August Launch

As a longtime Madden NFL fan and avid gamer, I’ve been eagerly anticipating the release of Madden NFL 25. With each new installment, I look forward to seeing how EA elevates the football gaming experience. And based on this latest gameplay deep dive trailer, it looks like they’ve outdone themselves once again.

In preparation for the upcoming release of Madden NFL 25 in August, Electronic Arts has unveiled a fresh gameplay trailer, providing an in-depth look at this year’s enhancements. The main innovations are the advanced version of FieldSENSE and a new feature called “BOOM Tech”.

For those unfamiliar, BOOM Tech is Madden’s latest physics engine for tackling, featuring enhanced balance controls for ball carriers and an updated hit stick with timing mechanics. This system considers a player’s weight and speed during impacts.

Based on EA’s announcement, BOOM Tech from BOOM Tech will give you the feeling of being a top NFL player, allowing you to overpower defenders and disrupt offenses with exceptional command. Newly enhanced passing blocking, catching mechanics, and other advanced FieldSENSE features are part of the upgrades. For more details, check out the trailer below.

Starting on August 16th, Madden NFL 25 is set to drop for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. Early access to the game, as well as additional perks, are offered with the Deluxe Edition and MVP Bundle purchases – a bonus that comes with College Football 25 included in the package.
