Channel 10 presenter Lachlan Kennedy slams ‘horrendous’ Wikipedia edit everyone in the TV world is talking about – as he splits from his wife and is linked to a Nine personality

As an obsessed fan of Australian journalism and media personalities, I have been following the recent scandal surrounding Lachlan Kennedy with bated breath. The shocking Wikipedia entry published about him has become the talk of the Australian TV industry, leaving many of us in a state of disbelief and concern.

A well-known presenter on Network Ten finds himself in a difficult situation following the publication of a highly criticized Wikipedia page about him, sparking conversation among Australian television professionals.

Last weekend, I came across a startling assertion about Lachlan Kennedy that had been added to a publicly editable online encyclopedia. As an ardent fan of his work, I was taken aback by the allegation and felt compelled to investigate further.

I, an avid fan, cannot contain my excitement as I share about the remarkable Lachlan Kennedy. Originating from Australia, this gifted journalist and news presenter has left an indelible mark on my heart. He is most renowned for… (continue with the specific achievements or recognitions that follow in the original text)

Due to legal constraints, the remaining portion of this post cannot be made public. A representative from Ten refuted the unverifiable statement, labeling it as “inaccurate” and “untrue”.

The rogue edit came as Mr Kennedy split with his wife, naturopath Cassie Davenport.

Lately, there have been reports suggesting that he is in a romantic relationship with the new Federal Political Reporter at Channel Nine, Liz Daniels.

Mr. Kennedy described the past week and the controversial Wikipedia post to Daily Mail Australia as “terrible” or “nightmarish”.

‘I’m not gonna say anything mate,’ he said. ‘This is just horrendous, mate’.

Anonymous editor introduced the debated section in Wikipedia on a Saturday, specifically at 2:22 pm, on July 13.

A short while afterwards, a different user took down the debated passage, commenting, “Provide proof that this is his most recognized achievement.”

The defamatory message was then added a second time, before being deleted once more.

I’ve learned from a Network Ten representative that the claims depicted in the Wikipedia snapshot are incorrect and not based on fact.

Ms. Davenport told Daily Mail Australia, “Lachlan and I have separated, but our love for and commitment to our children remains strong. We’re dedicated to raising them together.”

Based on my personal observation and interaction with Lachlan and his sons, I can confidently say that he is an exceptional father figure to them. However, it’s important to note that I have firsthand knowledge of their relationship, but I’ve come across some information about him on a Wiki page that I find questionable. From my perspective, the details presented in that public forum don’t align with what I’ve witnessed and experienced regarding Lachlan’s fathering skills. It’s unfortunate when misinformation spreads online, but it’s crucial to trust reliable sources and personal experiences over anonymous content.

When Daily Mail Australia reached out to me about my latest relationship, I took a moment to consider before responding, “I prefer not to discuss that topic at the moment.” There’s nothing improper implied in their question.

In recent weeks the father-of-two Mr Kennedy has shut down most of his social media pages.

He has even deleted some posts that reference his wife from his X (formerly Twitter) account.

Mr Kennedy and Ms Davenport wed in 2022 and are parents to a four-year-old and a six-month-old.

In 2010, Kennedy began working as a reporter for Network 10. More recently, in June 2022, he was appointed as one of the hosts of the new nationwide news broadcast on the channel.

Kennedy is known to have had a meeting with Ms. Davenport at Ten Pyrmont’s offices in the year 2017, with her being employed there as an executive assistant at that time.

Ms. Daniels, similar to Mr. Kennedy, had a past role as a NSW state political reporter. Her responsibilities included reporting on political news from the New South Wales parliament located at Macquarie Street in Sydney.
