As a dedicated and passionate fan of Free Fire esports, I’m thrilled to see the latest developments in the 2024 season. The recent announcements regarding the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) LATAM 2024 Split 2 have left me excited and eagerly anticipating the upcoming regional finals.

In 2024, Free Fire has reorganized its esports events according to the new plan. The regional finals for the first half of 2024, or H1 2024, have already been held. Starting on July 27th, the second split of the Free Fire World Series (FFWS) LATAM 2024 will begin. With a massive prize money of $100,000, the top teams are eagerly anticipated at the LATAM stage.

Free Fire World Series (FFWS) LATAM 2024 Split 2: Schedule and Format

Following the completion of Split 1, the main tournament phase began. After an intense and suspenseful process determining which teams would advance or be eliminated, the grand final is set to take place. The main tournament phase will commence on July 27, 2024. The qualified teams are gearing up for the most anticipated part of the competition.

From the twenty-seventh of July through the twenty-second of September, 2024, is when the Regular Phase will be held. A total of eighteen teams have been grouped into sixes. Over the course of six weeks, matchdays will occur every Friday to Sunday. In this period, a grand total of one hundred and eight matches will take place, with each team participating in seventy-two of those matches. The top twelve teams will qualify for the Grand Finals. The best performing team after every week is awarded an advantage of six headstart points for the upcoming finals.

As an avid fan, I’m thrilled to share that we have a total of twelve teams competing in this year’s grand finals! The intensity will reach new heights on October 12, 2024. Throughout the tournament, these teams will go head-to-head on various maps of Free Fire. The competition doesn’t end there – they’ll face off in a total of eight rounds. Based on their performance and accumulated elimination points, only one team will emerge victorious and be crowned as the champion. Can’t wait to see who takes home the trophy!
