Taylor Swift gives a royal shout-out to self-proclaimed ‘King Swiftie’ Flavor Flav during her concert in Germany
As a long-time music enthusiast and rap icon, I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing various genres and artists throughout my life. Taylor Swift, however, has captivated me in a unique way that I hadn’t anticipated.
At her concert in Hamburg, Germany on Tuesday, despite the heavy rain, Taylor Swift acknowledged a dedicated fan, Flavor Flav, with a heartfelt recognition.
At the conclusion of her performance, the Down Bad producer, aged 34, spotted hip-hop veteran, 65, in a VIP box, waving goodbye to the audience.
In a tweeted video posted by Public Enemy’s Flavor Flav, he is captured gesturing towards himself and saying, “Flavor Flav!”
A contestant on “Flavor of Love” who’s traveling to Europe for the 2024 Paris Olympics shared a video, expressing excitement, “This is Public Enemy’s KING SWIFTIE heading to Germany to visit me! Shout-out to Taylor Swift and her team, family for welcoming me!”
In a different video posted by the artist, he can be spotted at the concert waving a “King of Swifties” sign with pride.
“I’m deeply grateful for the affection and gifts bestowed upon me by all Swifties.”
He also shared a clip of himself inside of a spacious limousine on his way to the show.
In the video, he expressed, “I’m heading to Hamburg to visit Taylor Swift, who received the present. On my way there, baby!”
The rapper rocked a white and blue t-shirt with a matching hat and white rim sunglasses.
He also sported his signature bedazzled clock chain with, featuring a USA logo.
On Wed, the 24th of July, Taylor has a performance scheduled in Hamburg. Following that, she is set to perform at Munich’s Olympiastadion on the 27th and 28th of July.
In February, the musician discussed meeting with Taylor at the 2024 Grammy Awards ceremony.
For years, the musician known as “Fight the Power” has expressed his admiration for the pop sensation by attending several of her functions. At the Grammys, he seized the opportunity for a private conversation with Taylor, which he subsequently disclosed to the public.

In an interview on HOT 97’s Ebro in the Morning radio show, Flavor Flav announced for the first time that he considers himself a big fan of Taylor Swift, and has given himself the nickname “King Swiftie.”
‘Yes, I am a Swiftie,’ Flav said. ‘Not only that, but I got a new name now: ‘King Swiftie.”‘
The MC from Harder Than You Think surprised many by sharing that Taylor Swift’s song he enjoys most is “Bad Blood.”
He expressed that such situations are common in everyone’s relationships, families, or friendships. It goes something like this: “We were once close, but then you did something that hurt me, and now our connection has turned sour. Look at the consequences of your actions!”
At their first encounter, Flav expressed his longstanding admiration for Taylor Swift’s music.
The legendary rapper has even been seen out at special events wearing official Taylor merchandise.
During the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in November, he wore a cardigan with a 1989 (Taylor’s Version) theme.
In an interview with People magazine, Flav openly shared that Swift’s skill in storytelling is among the factors fueling his admiration for her.
He went on share how ‘every lyric that she spits out relates to life.’
