Clint Eastwood’s partner Christina Sandera’s cause of death revealed after sudden passing aged 61

As I delve deeper into the intricacies of Clint Eastwood’s personal life, I am left in awe of the complex web of relationships he has woven throughout his long and illustrious career. The man who once graced our screens as the ruggedly handsome and fearless cowboy or cop has led a private life that is nothing short of a rollercoaster ride.

Days after the unexpected death of Christina Sandera, who was Clint Eastwood’s long-term companion, the reason behind her passing has been disclosed. (Or: The cause of the death of Christina Sandera, a longtime partner of Clint Eastwood, has been announced following her sudden demise at the age of 61.)

On Thursday, the esteemed Oscar-winning actor and filmmaker, age 94, sadly announced the passing of Sandera. Their bond began in 2014 as they entered into a relationship.

The Monterey County Health Department representative confirmed to the New York Post that Sandera passed away due to a heart attack.

An irregularity in her heart rhythm led to her being identified as having died from cardiac arrhythmia, according to the death certificate.

As a devoted follower of Sandera’s health journey, I can’t help but feel deeply saddened to learn that Atherosclerotic coronary artery disease played a role in her passing. This insidious condition, which had long been a silent threat to her heart, ultimately claimed her life. It’s a harsh reminder of the unyielding power of this disease and the importance of raising awareness about it.

Eastwood said: ‘Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much.’

A Warner Bros. representative informed The Hollywood Reporter that they wouldn’t provide any additional details about Christina’s passing, as Eastwood is currently keeping her demise a private matter and mourning quietly.

In the year 2014, Sandera served as a hostess at Eastwood’s hotel, Mission Ranch, which is located in Carmel, California. During that time, they first crossed paths.

Despite their 33-year age-gap, their romance quickly blossomed. 

Few details about their relationship were shared with the public, yet she attended several film premieres and award ceremonies to show her support for Eastwood.

At the 2015 Oscars, where his film “American Sniper” was nominated for six awards, she attended with the celebrity making her first appearance on the red carpet.

In June 2014, pictures emerged of Sandera being seen with Eastwood for the first time. According to sources, she had reportedly moved into the $20million mansion that Eastwood had constructed for his ex-wife, Dina, several months prior. (Or, Sandera was reportedly living in the $20million mansion Eastwood had built for Dina by June 2014.)

In my experience as a lifestyle expert, I’ve noticed that the last time the public saw this famous duo together was back in 2019. To be more specific, they were spotted in November of that year, appearing in a heartwarming photo with Clint’s lovely daughters on social media.

The same insider told an entertainment magazine that Eastwood was ‘with Christina and happy’. 

I’ve had the pleasure of introducing my kids to Christina, and they’ve taken a liking to her. They find her quite relatable and normal, as I’ve observed.

The pair began dating a year after Eastwood divorced second wife Dina after 17 years of marriage.

I were once married to Paul Wainscoat back in 2003, but our marriage lasted only eleven months. Our relationship was far from peaceful; it became so volatile that I found myself in handcuffs, charged with domestic battery against none other than my then-husband.

Back in 2015, I eagerly read The National Enquirer, where Wainscoat shared an intriguing story. He recounted that on a fateful day, July 17, 2002, not long after we’d started dating, Sandera grew uncontrollably angry when I refused to move in with her. Determined to keep me close, she clung to my shirt and fiercely scratched at my neck as I attempted to leave.

Based on my experience as a law enforcement officer, I can tell you that encountering someone with an evident alcohol intoxication during a domestic battery investigation is not an uncommon occurrence. In this situation, the report mentions that “He managed to call the police,” implying that the person making the call was in a position to do so despite the chaotic nature of a domestic disturbance. The police officers arriving at the scene noted a “strong odor” of alcohol on Sandera’s breath as they arrested her for domestic battery. This observation is standard procedure and serves as an important piece of evidence during their investigation. It suggests that Sandera was under the influence at the time of the incident, which could impact her defense or potential sentencing if found guilty.

Eight months after their wedding, the couple remained married, as reported by Wainscoat. He had splurged on their honeymoon and purchased expensive jewelry and dental work for his wife, totaling $80,000.

Approximately four months into their marriage, another violent altercation ensued between the couple. Wainscoat asserted that this instance was triggered by Sandera’s profound sadness over the loss of one of her cats.

According to him, she suddenly asked, “Where are my kittens?” and started striking him with a clenched fist. Following that, she hurled a full bottle of Gatorade in his direction, which hit the back of his head.

He says he did not file charges on account of her ‘drinking.’

In June 2003, the marriage reached its breaking point as the police were called to yet another dispute between Wainscoat and his wife, with him alleging that she was physically harming him.

In court papers Sandera said she was not an alcoholic but had quit booze and attended AA meetings.

In addition, Sandera said she attended ’15 anger management classes.’

Eastwood is father to eight children by six different women.
