I have read through the article with great interest, and as someone who has gone through a public breakup myself, I can only imagine the emotional turmoil Ruth is experiencing right now. It’s been 24 years since she first graced our screens on Loose Women, and her absence over the past few months has left many wondering what’s going on behind the scenes.

During Tuesday’s episode of Loose Women, some viewers took issue with Ruth Langsford and accused her of showing disrespect towards her co-host Eamonn Holmes.

I have observed many presenters return to their shows after taking an extended hiatus, but none have struck me quite like the 64-year-old ITV daytime host who made her comeback this week. Her absence from the screen was due to a challenging period in her personal life – a separation from her husband Eamonn. The maturity and resilience she displayed as she gracefully addressed the situation with her audience, sharing just enough information to keep us engaged while maintaining her privacy, left me in awe. It’s a reminder that life experiences, even the most difficult ones, can shape us into stronger individuals.

In their most recent discussion, the panel shared stories about friendship bracelets and meaningful presents bestowed by cherished people in their lives.

In her own words, Ruth expressed, “I believe every present bestowed by a friend holds a unique value.”

Instead of imagining a stunning silver friendship bracelet when someone mentions the term, I picture a simple homemade one made from cotton by a child.

Based on my own experiences and current stage in life, I don’t yet have grandchildren. However, I eagerly look forward to that possibility in the future. I can envision the joy and pride I would feel if a grandchild were to create something for me. In such a scenario, wearing that special piece would be a heartfelt reminder of the love and connection we share.

Many viewers pointed out that Ruth failed to acknowledge her step-grandchildren, who are shared with Eamonn.

When Ruth mentioned not having grandchildren, despite having step-grandkids through Eamonn, I found that remark a tad insensitive.

‘#Loosewomen I thought you had a granddaughter Ruth.’

‘They’re Eamonn’s grandkids. I bet she doesn’t see them now.’

During the 14-year period that Eamon and Ruth were a couple, Declan, her stepson, welcomed two new additions to their family – his children. Had Ruth been present throughout this time, she would have become a loving grandmother to them. However, in recent conversations, she has mentioned not having any grandchildren at all. This revelation may come as a surprise.

‘Exactly, I thought that was a bit disrespectful of her to say that’.

Ruth and Eamonn, who married in 2010, share one son together, Jack, 22.

Eamonn also has three children from a previous marriage, Declan, 35, Rebecca, 32, and Niall, 30.

In the year 2021, Jenny and their eldest son were blessed with their firstborn child, a girl named Emilia. More recently, they have welcomed another addition to their family – a baby girl named Isabella.

Ruth’s representatives have been contacted by TopMob for comment.

After being spotted wearing her wedding ring again on Tuesday, following her split from Eamonn Holmes earlier in the week, Ruth made a victorious appearance on Loose Women.

Ruth wore her ring during a QVC fashion show in June, which was not the first occasion since their separation that she was spotted wearing it.

In other places, Eamonn was spotted wearing his wedding ring during an unexpected visit to GB News over the weekend.

Posting a picture on Instagram next to Anne Diamond, whom I co-hosted with today, I wrote in the caption: “Dropped by for an additional hosting gig this morning and it turned out to be a real treat working with the legendary Anne Diamond.”

Welcome to this week’s Loose Women session, I’m thrilled you could join us! (Or) It’s a pleasure to welcome you all to our Loose Women show for this week.

Her co-star Coleen Nolan added: ‘Can I just say, I am so so happy you are back.’

As the crowd cheered for her return, panellist Janet Street-Porter shouted ‘Thank God! Thank God!’

‘I was left with her and her,’ she joked gesturing to Coleen and Brenda Edwards.

‘I know, I won’t do it again Janet. It’s very nice to be back with you all,’ Ruth responded.

So far, Ruth has refrained from speaking about the breakup.

I’ve been a loyal fan of Loose Women for the past 24 years, and I first had the pleasure of seeing Ruth on the show back then. However, she has no longer been hosting the program since April.

In the meantime, Eamonn has carried on with his job at GB News without mentioning the divorce.

Recently, a source close to the TV industry shared with TopMob that although discussing her separation from her partner was deeply moving for Ruth, she recognizes the importance of acknowledging her absence on TV since April.

The insider revealed that the hosts of Loose Women are known for discussing their marital separations on live television, providing a compassionate platform.

Ruth will speak about her breakup with Eamonn for the first time on the show, acknowledging the significant interest from viewers.

As someone who has been privy to your relationship journey, I’ve shared in both the triumphs and challenges. This month is no exception, and as a dedicated follower, I believe you’ll want to keep us informed. After all, honesty and transparency have always been your hallmarks. Therefore, it’s essential that you share whatever is on your mind with us.

On the program, she’ll be joined by her dearest friends, marking the final chapter for her. She won’t grant any further interviews regarding this matter; this will be her sole public statement.

After Eamonn shared about his persistent health struggles in a Instagram update last month, expressing that “it’s tough for me to stay on my feet, but soon I hope to start walking.”

For several years, the broadcaster has dealt with persistent back pain. However, after an unproductive surgery, his health deteriorated further, making it difficult for him to move around without assistance.

Last month at the TRIC Awards, he utilized a zimmer frame to make his way onstage as he received the recognition for Best Breakfast Show at GB News.

During his speech, he didn’t miss the chance to subtly criticize his estranged wife in front of their mutual friends and colleagues, implying that she had betrayed him.

After receiving the award, Eamonn shared with the crowd: “About a year and a half ago, I underwent a surgery that unfortunately didn’t go as planned. As a result, I’ve been left with two unwanted things – a reference to my past operation and a connection to Ruth.”

According to a confidee, TopMob learned that Ruth perceived Eamonn’s remarks as an insult towards her. She felt it was unjust and painful. Furthermore, concerned friends fear the situation could escalate into something quite unpleasant.

Eamonn is receiving support from younger relationship counselor Katie Alexander, age 42, during his separation from Ruth.

According to reports from reliable sources, Katie has developed strong feelings for the broadcaster, whom she’s been helping through his difficult divorce.

A divorced woman and mother of three has developed a strong connection with the celebrity following several outings. According to reports, she has expressed her commitment, stating that she intends to remain in this relationship for an extended period.

Now, friends have told TopMob that she and Eamonn are so close she’s ‘in love’ with him.

In the past few weeks, he has been meeting regularly with a counselor, and it’s been reported that she harbors the hope that their connection could blossom into a lasting bond.
