Slash announces death of Lucy-Bleu Knight, daughter of girlfriend Meegan Hodges

As a movie lover and someone who has experienced the loss of a loved one, I can only imagine the pain and grief that Slash and his family are going through right now. The sudden and unexpected death of Lucy-Bleu Knight at such a young age is truly heartbreaking.

Slash, the guitarist for Guns N’ Roses, sadly announced on Sunday that his girlfriend’s twenty-five-year-old daughter, Lucy-Bleu Knight, had passed away.

The famed rock artist with a Grammy under his belt, whose true name is Saul Hudson, shared the sad news on Instagram last week that Knight had passed away. Meegan Hodges, Knight’s mother and partner, also posted an identical message on her account, asking for people to keep the circumstances of her daughter’s death private.

On July 19, 2024, in Los Angeles, CA, Lucy-Bleu Knight (born December 6, 1998), cherished daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, loving sister of Scarlet Knight, and dear stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully.

“Lucy-Bleu was an artist with great skill, a fervent dreamer, and a delightfully endearing spirit,” the statement expressed. “The family kindly requests seclusion during this mourning period and respectfully appeals for the reduction of social media conjecture as they cope with this heartbreaking tragedy.”

According to the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office, a knight passed away on Friday at a private residence in Los Angeles. The specific cause and manner of his death remain undetermined at this time, though an examination is planned to provide more information.

A few hours following the family’s announcement of Knight’s passing, an enigmatic message appeared on her Instagram page, causing some to assume she had pre-planned its release, sparking intriguing discussions in the post’s comment thread.

Regretfully, I missed out on many opportunities and connections due to my oversized ego, insecure heart, and fear of vulnerability.
