As a woman who has followed Rachel Lindsay’s journey on The Bachelorette and kept up with her post-show life, I find it heartbreaking to see her going through a divorce after what seemed like a loving relationship. Having watched her carefully choose and commit to her husband, Shawn Easley Abasolo, during the show, it’s disheartening to see their marriage come to an end.

Bryan Abasolo, former contestant on The Bachelorette, has been seen packing up his belongings from the house he once shared with his separated spouse, Rachel Lindsay.

A forty-four-year-old reality star, currently going through a divorce with Lindsay whom he married in 2019, was observed removing his possessions from their Studio City home last Saturday.

Bryan, wearing a black T-shirt, trousers, and a hat, seemed to be loading an electronic gadget and several bags from the premises into the back of his car.

After the judge’s decree, Lindsay was mandated by court records, obtained by Us Weekly, to pay Abasolo $13,257 monthly as interim alimony.

An outlet added that Lindsay was ordered to cover her ex-husband’s legal costs, amounting to $15,000, and an additional $5,000 for expert fees in connection with their divorce proceedings filed on December 31, 2023. Abasolo initially requested alimony when initiating the divorce process.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase that sentence like this: In older legal records, it came to light that Lindsay and Abasolo had been residing together despite having ended their relationship.

According to court records acquired by Us, Abasolo expressed that cohabiting with Lindsay during their separation has been an uneasy and tense experience due to the lack of communication between them and their attempts to minimize contact.

Abasolo said he wants to move out but was in need of funds for a deposit on a future home.

In the court papers acquired by Us, he expressed his desire to leave our shared home right away, but currently, we can’t afford our usual way of living financially.

I paused my chiropractic practice to support Rachel’s job-related moves twice. Unfortunately, these relocations negatively impacted my business, while Rachel’s income and media career achievements significantly grew.

According to court papers acquired by Page Six, Lindsay stated that they hardly ever spent time together or resided at the same place during their short-lived marriage.

Last week, Abasolo shared on Instagram that he’s collaborating with divorce coach Rene Garcia. He even posted a picture of the two of them together.

Last year, when I initially encountered my divorce coach, I was in a state of deep emotional and psychological exhaustion. Seeking an unbiased perspective and direction, I turned to him for assistance with making a significant choice.

As an obsessed fan, I can’t express enough gratitude to @Renesance_Man, who has become more than just an acquaintance to me. He was the one who prepared me for the manipulative public relations tactics and gaslighting that were allegedly on the horizon. I owe him a debt of thanks. If you find yourself contemplating separation, don’t make hasty decisions based on emotions. Instead, consider seeking out the guidance of a divorce coach to help you navigate this complex process with clarity and thoughtfulness.

A month following Lindsay’s admission of regret over not having a prenuptial agreement, the interview takes place.

As an obsessed fan, I can’t help but share my excitement when a favorite reality star opens up about their personal life. Recently on the Hidden Gems With Natasha Parker podcast, they confessed, “A lot of folks ask me, ‘With your legal background, didn’t you get a prenup?’ But sadly, I didn’t.”

She continues by sharing her reasons for not acting, explaining, “At the time, my financial situation was significantly different from what it was when I got married. Our circumstances were more equal, and I wasn’t living in California.”

I firmly believe I brought up the topic of a prenuptial agreement with my former fiancé, expressing my viewpoint that it was essential for our future marriage. However, it seems we didn’t see eye to eye on this matter.

When they got married in August 2019, which feels like a past era for her now, she confessed that she acted more on emotions than rational thinking.

She remarked, “I preferred keeping it low-key and therefore, we didn’t address it.” Looking back, “I would have handled it differently.”

Abasolo stated in his divorce documents submitted in January that their marriage formally ended on New Year’s Eve due to “irreconcilable differences.”

After being married for four years, the petitioner is requesting a divorce from the courts and asks for alimony as a chiropractor.

Lindsay shared with podcast host Natasha Parker that their separation was friendly, but she felt Abasolo’s decision to file was unnecessarily complicated.

During an episode of her Higher Learning Podcast, Rachel unexpectedly shared about the split, admitting, “I hadn’t anticipated feeling so deeply.”

I’m truly humbled by the outpouring of support I’ve received lately. It’s amazing to see how many people care for me and want to reach out. I’m still working my way through all the messages, but every new one brings a smile to my face and reminds me of the richness of my life experience. It’s easy to take our circles of friends and family for granted, but moments like these make it abundantly clear just how fortunate I am.

The star remarked, “It goes without saying that this is a challenging period, as reported in the news. You might be questioning my decision to carry on working.”

In all honesty, I must admit that I prefer to focus on something I’m passionate about when I feel the need to step away from introspection. And for me, that passion is Higher Learning.

She would eventually explain the rationale for their parting, but for now, she was focusing on taking things one day at a time and wasn’t ready to discuss it.

In the year 2017, The Bachelorette saw Abasolo vying for and ultimately winning Lindsay’s affection. Their wedding took place in Cancun, Mexico, in the year 2019.
