I can’t help but feel a deep sense of concern and empathy for Blxst, the talented rapper whose home was invaded while his young children were present. As a dedicated fan of his music, it’s heartbreaking to see him go through such a traumatic experience.

Last week, rapper Blxst shared an astonishing video on social media, capturing the moment intruders broke into his house in Encino. Unfortunately, his two little kids were present at the time of the burglary.

A musician, aged 31, who wasn’t there when intruders struck late on Tuesday night, shared a chilling security footage showing three masked individuals trespassing in his backyard.

One of the men was seen smashing a window before all three broke into the home.

Later, the men in hoodies, who were identified in footage from security cameras, were seen running away from the scene after being confronted by the children’s nanny and then reporting the incident to the authorities.

According to NBC Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Police Department, a crime took place around 2:50 a.m. on Tuesday.

The suspects left the crime scene before the police arrived. Upon their arrival, the officers took a report on a suspected burglary. It wasn’t clear yet if anything had been stolen.

Blxst posted on Instagram: “It takes an immense amount of strength not to lose it right now. Picturing myself being far from home and loved ones during a peak career moment, only to be woken up by my son facetiming me at 4 am, saying ‘I think there are bad guys in the house’.”

I’m deeply sad and unable to find words to describe the feeling of being unable to shield my sons when they need me most.

‘God know my heart… why play with mine?

I’m proud of being humble and maintaining a clean conscience, but I must admit, it’s difficult for me to decide who to trust. Fortunately, my family is doing well overall. I’m grateful for the opportunity to fight if needed, and I’m prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice for their sake… Please keep my loved ones in your prayers.

Matthew Dean Burdette, also known as Blxst, traveled around the country to share his first album, titled “I’ll Always Come Find You,” with fans.

The star made a debut with his 2020 EP “No Love Lost,” which includes the popular hit song “Chosen” featuring collaborations with Tyga and Ty Dolla Sign.

He released his debut mixtape Before You Go in 2022.
