The wait for Tracker Season 2 is longer than we'd hoped

As a dedicated fan of “Tracker,” I couldn’t contain my excitement when I heard that CBS had renewed the show for a second season. The success of the first season was undeniable, and I wasn’t at all surprised by the announcement. However, I have to admit that I was taken aback when CBS revealed the premiere dates.

In no time, CBS decided to order another season of “Tracker,” given its impressive performance during the first season. Its return for the fall schedule came as no shock.

CBS has revealed the release dates for their new shows this season. Unlike past years when fall shows typically debut in September, CBS is shaking things up with later premiere dates. The anticipation for shows is already running high, and the eagerness for Tracker‘s Season 2 is particularly intense.

The reason behind CBS deciding to do this is unclear. Perhaps the network had to postpone the starts due to shorter seasons, which helps avoid extended breaks later in the year. We, the viewers, would appreciate some clarification from CBS, as we’re accustomed to September premieres during fall.

Tracker Season 2 premieres at the end of October

As a long-time television enthusiast and someone who has followed the schedules of various networks for years, I can tell you that “Tracker,” one of the most anticipated shows of the season, won’t be making its debut on the usual prime-time slot this year. Instead, it will grace our screens a little later than expected – specifically, at 8:30 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT on Sunday, Oct. 27.

During this season, I’ll be looking forward to the premiere of The Equalizer’s fifth season. At this time, Eastern Time schedules fluctuate between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. for Tracker due to football broadcasts.

In the upcoming second series, Colter continues his pursuit of lucrative missions. Money, not altruism, motivates him to rescue people. However, exceptions are made for his friends, whom he helps without monetary incentives.

At the conclusion of the first season, Colter handled some personal matters and discovered hidden past truths. With Jensen Ackles set to reappear for an extended storyline, it’s likely that these issues will resurface. Will Colter and Russell uncover what happened to their father? And might they join forces with Dory at a later point in time?
