It’s exciting when major actors share the screen, and 2026 promises a few of those moments with Zendaya and Robert Pattinson. Both have become household names recently – Pattinson with his role as Batman and Zendaya through her work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, to name just a couple of their projects.
This year marks the first of three on-screen collaborations for the pair, which is unusual, especially given that all three projects are large-scale films. What’s even more impressive is the range of roles, highlighting the acting abilities of both Pattinson and Zendaya.
Zendaya & Robert Pattinson Will Star As A Couple In The Drama
I’m so excited for Zendaya and Robert Pattinson’s new movie, The Drama! It’s coming out on April 3rd, and from what I’ve heard, they have amazing chemistry. They play a couple – Robert is Charlie Thompson, a museum director, and Zendaya is Emma Harwood, who works at a bookstore. I can’t wait to see it!
This movie starts with a couple just days away from their wedding when one of them discovers surprising and disturbing secrets about their partner, throwing their relationship into chaos. While advertised as a romantic comedy and drama, it’s much more of a serious, dramatic story.
The trailer for The Drama shows the couple at a wedding photoshoot. When asked to smile naturally, they appear uncomfortable, and quick cuts reveal the difficulties within their relationship.
As a film buff, I’m really excited about The Drama. It’s definitely the most intimate project Robert Pattinson and Zendaya have done together – it’s a smaller movie, but they’re truly the focus. Unlike some of their other films where they’re part of a larger cast, they’re really carrying this one as the leads, and I think that’ll be amazing to watch.
The Odyssey Features Both Robert Pattinson & Zendaya
Zendaya and Robert Pattinson will star in a new film called The Odyssey, scheduled for release on July 18, 2026. Directed by Christopher Nolan, this movie is his interpretation of the classic Greek story. Following the massive success of Oppenheimer, which earned close to $1 billion worldwide, this film is expected to be another blockbuster for the acclaimed director.
As a huge film fan, I’m really excited about The Odyssey. It follows Odysseus, the king of Ithaca, on his incredibly difficult journey home after the Trojan War – he’s desperate to get back to his wife! The premise is fantastic, and knowing Christopher Nolan is directing, I just know it’s going to be absolutely stunning to watch on a massive IMAX screen.
Zendaya plays Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom, war, and crafts, who helps Odysseus during his travels. Robert Pattinson will portray Antinous, one of the suitors competing for the attention of Penelope, Odysseus’s wife.
Zendaya and Robert Pattinson likely won’t share many scenes together, considering their roles in the film. However, both actors are central to the story. This marks the first time Zendaya has worked with director Christopher Nolan, while Pattinson is collaborating with him for the second time, following his lead role in Tenet.
Robert Pattinson Joins Zendaya In Dune: Part Three
The last film featuring both Robert Pattinson and Zendaya is Dune: Part Three, scheduled for release on December 18th. It’s the third movie in Denis Villeneuve’s acclaimed Dune series, which is based on the popular novels.
The first two films were based on the original Dune novel, and this new movie covers the book Dune Messiah. Previously, Paul Atreides had become Emperor and reluctantly agreed to marry Irulan, the daughter of the previous Emperor, creating tension in his relationship with his beloved, Chani.
Zendaya plays Chani, a central character in the second film. She stands her ground against Paul and the final scene shows her riding away on a sandworm. She’s expected to be a major player in future installments of the Dune series.
Dune Messiah surprised readers when it first came out as a book, and the movie is likely to do the same. While it’s not official, Robert Pattinson is reportedly going to play Scytale, a character who can change his appearance and is a master from the Bene Tleilax.
Scytale is a fascinating character in the series. He’s hired to look into a plot to kill Paul, but his ability to change shape makes people suspicious – even the powerful Bene Gesserit are wary of his kind. The chemistry between the actors playing Scytale and Paul is particularly captivating.
Three Movies Together Is Rare, Especially In One Year
It’s rare to see major stars like Zendaya and Robert Pattinson in three movies within a single year, and movie fans should be excited about it. Considering how busy both actors are, landing them in even one film is challenging, making this a truly exceptional situation.
We’re getting three movies, and all of them look fantastic! “The Drama” appears to be a critically acclaimed, smaller film, “The Odyssey” is a huge, epic adventure, and if it follows the quality of the first two, “Dune: Part Three” will be something truly special.
