Ruth Langsford is set to return to Loose Women as she 'feels it is time' to get back to work following split from husband Eamonn Holmes

As a dedicated follower of Ruth Langsford and her journey through life, I have always admired her resilience and strength, especially during challenging times. Her upcoming return to Loose Women after two months away following her split from husband Eamonn Holmes is a testament to her commitment to her career and her ability to move forward.

Ruth Langsford will be back on Loose Women starting Monday, having been away for two months since her separation from her husband Eamonn Holmes.

Ruth, a well-known ITV personality at the age of 64, who appeared on ITV recently in April, has no plans to delve deeply into her split from Eamonn during their upcoming show. She desires to keep things as ordinary and enjoyable as possible for their audience.

A friend of Ruth’s shared with The Mirror, “The past few weeks have been challenging for Ruth, but now she feels ready to return to Loose Women. She cherishes her role on the show, and despite the difficulty of the recent split, life moves forward.”

‘Just don’t expect any big news or revelations about the divorce, she wants to keep that private.’

In 1999, Ruth made her debut on Loose Women. It’s anticipated that she will be accompanied on the program by Coleen Nolan, Brenda Edwards, and Janet Street-Porter.

In the meantime, Eamonn has carried on with his job at GB News following the separation, without disclosing any details about the divorce. However, he has been noticed still donning his wedding ring.

In May, after being together for 27 years and having been married for 14, the couple made the decision to go their separate ways. So far, Ruth has remained silent about their split.

After Eamonn posted on Instagram earlier this month that “it’s challenging for me to stay upright,” his next goal is to begin walking, despite his persistent health issues.

In June, he went to the TRIC Awards with the help of a zimmer frame, and was honored with the award for Best Morning Show on GB News in its breakfast slot.

For several years, the broadcaster endured persistent back pain. However, after an unsuccessful surgery, his back problems became more severe, making it challenging for him to move around without assistance.

Eamonn is finding comfort during his separation from Ruth through the support of Katie Alexander, a divorcee and mother of three, who is 22 years younger than him.

In the past few weeks, he has been regularly meeting with a counselor. Reports suggest that she harbors the hope that their connection could develop into a lasting bond.

I’ve been following the developments between Katie and Eamonn closely, and a reliable insider shared some intriguing details with me. According to this source, Katie is standing by Eamonn during his tough times, but she doesn’t desire any public attention that might label her as a marriage wrecker. The bond between them has been strengthening lately, yet it’s important to note that Eamonn’s marriage had essentially ended before they grew closer.

I, Ruth, am fortunate to be a mother to two wonderful young men: Jack, who is 22 years old and shares this current chapter of my life with Eamonn, and Niall, who is 30 years old, as well as Declan and Rebecca, both in their late twenties. In my previous marriage, I was blessed with the privilege of raising these three lovely children.

Twenty-four years ago was when she initially graced Loose Women, but she no longer serves as their permanent host, having last appeared in April.

TopMob has contacted Loose Women for comment.
