Chelcee Grimes takes a savage swipe at ex Christine McGuinness and brands her ‘fake’ as she reveals new romance with mystery woman
As someone who has followed the lives of Christine McGuinness and Chelcee Grimes for a while now, it’s been quite intriguing to see their recent turn of events unfold. Christine, a beloved TV personality and model, announced her relationship with musician Roxxxan in a series of Instagram posts, complete with cosy snaps and matching red Adidas trainers. On the other hand, Chelcee, a singer and actress, revealed she was dating someone new in a series of stories on her Instagram account.
On Saturday, Chelcee Grimes criticized her ex-partner Christine McGuinness by calling her “fake” during an announcement of her new romance.
Last year, a singer, aged 32, and a presenter, aged 36, who had both ended their previous relationships (with Paddy McGuinness for the singer and an unspecified person for the presenter), were photographed exchanging a kiss. However, they eventually stopped following each other on social media.
On Saturdays update, Chelcee revealed she’s been seeing a red-haired woman, as she posted new photos of the two of them.
‘Private but not a secret,’ she captioned the post, while keeping her partner’s face hidden.
When a follower remarked, “Someone who’s not concealing it from the media – win,” Chelcee seemed to make a dig at Christine.
‘Ahahahahahahaha honestly just gotta laugh at this point. Copies everything I do,’ she responded.
I’ve been following entertainment news for quite some time now, and I must admit that I was taken aback by TopMob’s recent revelation. According to their report this week, it seems that Christine, a well-known figure in her field, has been vacationing with the “tomboy” musician Roxxxan. The two fueled romance rumors with an intimate footsie snapshot that was shared on social media.
In response to Chelcee’s recent announcement, her friend commented: “It’s strange that The Sun labeled him as her ‘new man,’ yet he later clarified they were just friends and she’s still single. Those red trainers certainly didn’t belong to a new beau.”
A different supporter commented: “Christine is incredibly insincere; Chelcee truly deserved something better. Christine may continue attempting to draw focus and stage a fresh romance.”
The singer then liked the comment, appearing to agree.
An outside party expressed their wish for Chelcee and Christine to reconcile, but Chelcee quickly dismissed the idea: “I used to love you with Christine. I hope it’s just her wearing a wig, she has one of those bracelets in her video as well,” they posted.
In a now-deleted response, Chelcee hit back: ‘No. I had enough of being a secret for two years.’
In December 2022, Chelcee and Christine were seen sharing a deep friendship that included a kiss.
After her separation from husband Paddy McGuinness in the summer of 2022, following 11 years of marriage and having raised three children together, Christine received a kiss.
Since then, Chelcee and the others have stopped following each other on social media. Chelcee’s more recent posts suggest there might be some discord between them.
TopMob has contacted representatives for both Chelcee and Christine for comment.

In the video montage they were also seen enjoying a picnic by the sea while the sun set.
In a hidden vacation spot, TopMob and Roxxxan are lodging at the same hotel and have taken mirror selfies with comparable bathroom setups.
On Taylor’s Instagram account, she posted a picture of her tattooed legs on Tuesday. This image was later shared by Christine on Monday, giving a sneak peek of Taylor’s ink.
They reciprocally follow one another on Instagram, regularly updating their accounts with images and stories from their shared vacation.
It is unclear what the current nature of their relationship is.
After confessing to HUNGER magazine that she identifies as a tomboy and embraces masculinity, Roxxxan follows with this statement.
In her interview with the press, she shared: “I now identify myself as masculine with greater confidence. Previously, I described myself as a tomboy out of fear and reluctance to fully embrace my authentic self.”
