Katie Price reveals the reason why she chose not to breastfeed any of her five children: 'I wasn't going to be vilified'

As a lifestyle expert and someone who has observed various aspects of motherhood throughout my career, I believe that every woman has the right to make informed choices about how she raises her children, including whether or not to breastfeed. Katie Price’s decision to bottle feed her five kids is a personal one, and it’s essential to remember that there’s no “right” or “wrong” way to parent.

Katie Price has hilariously explained why she chose not to breastfeed any of her five children.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: I’m a mom of four wonderful kids – Harvey, who’s 22, Junior at 19, Princess turning 17 soon, and adorable Jett and Bunny, aged 10 and 9 respectively.

Thursdays saw the revelation from the reality star about the release of her seventh personal account, titled “This Is Who I Am”.

In the new book set to be her most shocking work, Katie reveals that during the birth of her second child, Junior, there was considerable pressure on her to deliver naturally and nurse him.

She continued: ‘My reaction then is the same as it is now: ‘F*** off. Let me do things my own way.

As an obsessed fan, I firmly believe that every decision new mothers make is their own. No one else has the right to impose their opinions on us about what we should or shouldn’t do. It’s our journey, and we get to choose the path. Let’s embrace the joy and challenges of motherhood in our unique ways.

As a mother, it’s important to find what works best for you and your baby. I made the decision to bottle-feed, joining the ranks of countless other mothers worldwide who have made the same choice. I refuse to be criticized for making this choice that suits my situation.

It is not the first time Katie has spoken about the bottle-feeding versus breastfeeding debate.

During an appearance on Loose Women in the year 2016, Katie surprised both the audience and her fellow panelists when she expressed her dislike for observing women breastfeed.

At that point, Katie expressed her disapproval: “I’m not a fan of sharing breastfeeding photos on social media.”

“I prefer not to share those images, as most people might also feel uncomfortable with seeing mine, including my chest area and such.”

If something is clearly visible, you can’t help but look at it, Katie added, being the co-host of The Katie Price Show.

‘I know it’s a natural thing, but I don’t want to eat my dinner seeing a woman’s boob out.’

The model defended herself against criticism over her pregnancy photo spreads in publications like OK!, asserting that she had full creative control during the shoots and remained unapologetic about it.

The model interacted with her panelists Janet Street-Porter, Ruth Langsford, Linda Robson, and special guest Kerry Katona as they discussed her magazine photo sessions.

“She explained that for us, it’s not possible to provide an answer since we have visible imperfections. However, in her case, she intentionally displayed hers and maintained control over the situation.”

I understand that sharing personal photos, especially during pregnancy, can be a sensitive topic for some people. From my perspective, I’ve had experiences where I’ve been compensated for taking and sharing bump photos as part of professional photoshoots. However, when it comes to sending casual snaps of my own bump to friends, I prefer to keep that private. It’s not about being two-faced or hypocritical; it’s simply a personal choice based on what feels right for me. Everyone’s circumstances and comfort levels are different, and I respect that. Ultimately, I believe it’s essential to be mindful of the impact our actions have on ourselves and others, while also allowing room for individual decisions and experiences.

On Wednesday, Katie flaunted the outcomes of her 17th breast enhancement procedure as she attended a launch event for “This Is Me” with her boyfriend JJ Slater.

A former glamour model was spotted exiting the Royal Vauxhall Tavern in London, accompanied by JJ (age 31), wearing a striking outfit that turned heads.

In my experience as a lifestyle coach, I’ve come across many women who, much like Katie, have harbored the desire to expand their family. Yet, they find themselves in relationships that may not be conducive to starting another baby. So, they make the bold and empowered decision to seek out a sperm donor instead. By doing so, these women take charge of their lives and their reproductive journey, ensuring that they bring a new life into the world with the best possible circumstances.

In her latest publication, Katie reveals that she maintains a quick connection with an American fertility clinic and has selected the donorwhose sperm she intends to use.
