Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess Launch Trailer Dances into View as it Hits Xbox Game Pass Today
As a lifelong gamer with a deep appreciation for Japanese culture and folklore, I’m beyond excited about Capcom’s latest release: Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. The stunning visuals and immersive gameplay transport me back to my childhood spent exploring the rich world of Okami.
Today, Capcom released “Kunitsu-Gami: The Goddess’s Journey,” where the legendary guardian Soh confronts the destructive onslaught of Seethe. The ominous power of Seethe has been spreading, threatening the once lively land of Mt. Kafuku.
Drawing inspiration from Japanese mythology, Kunitsu-Gami asks you to rally the village inhabitants to join your mission. Together, you work towards purifying a route to every Torii gate of Kafuku’s mountain, banishing the Seethe’s contamination. After successfully clearing each level, rebuild the area and restore the mountain to its past splendor.
In Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, you’ll experience a captivating blend of hand-to-hand combat in confined spaces and real-time strategy. Manage your villagers and assign them tasks to safeguard Yoshiro. Additionally, this game features an intriguing day/night cycle: spend your days preparing for the Seethe, while nights are dedicated to battling them. This innovative Capcom title is definitely worth exploring!
In addition, players can obtain exclusive “Okami Collaboration” rewards in the game. These include an Amaterasu costume and weapon for Soh, a Yoshiro Waka costume, and a special Okami collaboration soundtrack. The game “Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess” is now available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC, and can be accessed through Xbox Game Pass.
