Brad Pitt looks in good spirits as he arrives at the Grand Prix in Hungary to continue filming scenes for F1 film

As a die-hard Formula One fan with years of experience following the thrilling races and the iconic drivers, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming Top Gun: Maverick – a movie that promises to merge the best of both worlds: high-octane racing and Hollywood blockbuster action.

At the Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest on a sunny Friday morning, Brad Pitt put forth a refreshed appearance, adding brilliance to the event as he prepared to shoot fresh sequences for his upcoming Formula 1 film.

At the renowned Hungaroring race track, the beloved Hollywood figure, turning 60, participated in another day’s worth of practice sessions.

Brad chose a green sweater and denim pants, accessorizing with trendy auburn aviator glasses and a silver timepiece.

The acting legend carried a heavy green duffle bag with him for another gruelling filming session.

As a die-hard Troy alumni, I couldn’t contain my excitement as I beamed with pride and enthusiastically waved to the passionate crowd. With every step towards the paddock, I eagerly encouraged their thunderous cheers, feeling an unbreakable bond between us.

Before his driving lesson, the World War Z actor got ready and seemed completely at ease once behind the wheel, effortlessly navigating the racecar.

Brad has been getting behind the wheel often, and most recently at the British Grand Prix.

I was absolutely ecstatic as I sat in the grandstands of the Formula 1 British Grand Prix on July 7, my heart pounding with anticipation. The man of my dreams, the legendary Hollywood star, was right there beside me, holding hands with his lovely girlfriend Ines de Ramon. And then, the moment arrived – the very first teaser trailer for the upcoming movie was unveiled before our eyes! Oh, what a thrill it was to witness that magical moment and be among the first to catch a glimpse of the upcoming masterpiece.

In a movie summary, Anthony Hopkins, known for his role in “The Legends of the Fall,” takes on a new character: a retired racing driver who makes a comeback with a made-up Formula 1 team called APXGP.

He and Damson Idris, who portrays his teammate Joshua Pearce, go up against the giants of the sport.

Joseph Kosinski was the director of the film. He was also in charge of producing “Top Gun: Maverick,” with Tom Cruise as the leading man, known for his love of high-speed action.

Lewis Hamilton, a renowned Formula 1 racing champion who recently triumphed at the British Grand Prix, collaborated with Brad Pitt and Jerry Bruckheimer on making the film together.

The film was produced in partnership with Formula 1 and its circle. Each of the 10 Formula 1 teams and their drivers, along with the FIA and race organizers, played a role in ensuring the story’s accuracy.

According to Deadline’s report, Apple paid between $130 million and $140 million for the F1 package, yet this figure does not account for the wages of the main figures such as the director, writer, actors, and producers.

Over the past few years, the movie was shot at numerous Formula One races held worldwide. It features the acting talents of Kerry Condon, Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia, and Samson Kayo in its cast.

In my zealous enthusiasm for Formula One, I excitedly recite the list of corporations backing the racing teams to my companion Kerry. I emphasize the necessity of securing a vehicle capable of surpassing their current speeds.

At the racetrack, Brad can be spotted in his racing car, moving at breakneck speed, while “We Will Rock You” by Queen blasts in the background. When Brad reaches top velocity, a title card appears on screen.

The manufacturing process continues, and they were recently shooting scenes for the film at the British Grand Prix towards the beginning of this month.

Filming is due to continue as late as the Abu Dhabi race in December of this year.

More footage will be captured in Hungary this week, followed by Belgium, Mexico City and Las Vegas.

In the initial film promotional material, Pitt is depicted wearing the helmet of the made-up squad “APXGP.” He’ll share the screen with Damson Idris, who portrays his teammate in the production.

The movie’s title failed to excite fans. On social media, some expressed disappointment, with one fan commenting, “Such an uninspiring title,” while another quipped, “I bet they spent hours brainstorming for that.”

In other places, however, some people disregarded the essential aspect of the film’s title and instead focused on their enthusiasm for the upcoming movie, expected to significantly boost the sport’s fame.

‘I can’t wait for this,’ one wrote, and another fan added: ‘Hand over the Oscar already!’

F1 will hit theaters and IMAX on June 27, 2025 in North America and June 25, 2025 internationally.

Meanwhile F1 racing driver Lewis Hamilton cut a stylish look in a sporty Tommy Hilfiger co-ord.

The 39-year-old British actor wore a large, colorful sweatshirt in white, blue, and red, along with denim pants and bulky maroon sneakers.

Lewis added a silver necklace and black sunglasses to his outfit as he paused to grant some fortunate fans autographs on his path to the paddock.
