How to get Twisters’ limited edition Steelbook boxset

As a huge fan of disaster movies and blockbuster sequels, I can hardly contain my excitement for “Twisters,” the highly-anticipated follow-up to the iconic 1996 classic “Twister.” Having grown up watching the original film countless times, I can’t help but feel a deep connection to this franchise.

Twisters will soon be coming to home video with a limited edition Steelbook boxset.

The long-awaited follow-up to the 1996 hit movie “Twister” is generating tremendous praise from critics and might become a major summer blockbuster at the box office.

As the disaster film starring Glen Powell and Daisy Edgar- Jones debuts in UK cinemas, Warner Bros Pictures is ready with plans for its physical home media release.

HMV is currently taking pre-orders for the Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD Steelbook of the film, priced at £34.99. The release date and extra features will be shared publicly in the near future.

As a gamer, I can tell you that if you’re looking to pre-order “Twisters,” there are some other options for you besides the regular edition. For a more immersive experience, you could opt for the 4K Ultra HD boxset, which will give you stunning picture quality and cost you only £24.99. If that’s a bit too pricey for you, there’s also the standard Blu-ray version for £14.99 or the standard DVD for just £9.99. So choose the one that fits best in your gaming budget!

Before the sequel’s physical copy becomes available, you have the option to pre-order a Steelbook set of the original “Twister” in 4K Ultra HD for just £37.49. This offer will be up for grabs starting October 14, 2024.

In this two-disc collection, you’ll find comprehensive behind-the-scenes information about the making of the 1996 film, plus an engaging commentary track by the film’s director, Jan De Bont.

Extra special perks come with this edition, such as behind-the-scenes SFX segments titled “The Making of Twister” and “Anatomy of a Twister,” in addition to the reflective documentary named “Chasing the Storm: Twister Revisited.”

In the upcoming film’s continuation, Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones, and Anthony Ramos portray the roles of storm trackers who gather in Oklahoma to put innovative weather-monitoring equipment to the test.

Mark L. Smith, author of “The Boys in the Boat” and “The Revenant,” wrote the screenplay for “Twisters.” Lee Isaac Chung, director of “The Mandalorian” and “Minari,” is set to direct this project.

Twisters is now out in UK cinemas, and it’s arriving in US cinemas on July 19.
