Stephen Graham targeted by Celebrity Traitors bosses as ‘star signing’ for next season of hit BBC show

In the popular Netflix series Adolescence, he portrayed a father shocked to discover his teenage son had committed a murder.

However, Stephen Graham, the actor, might be more insightful than his characters suggest. Sources at The Mail on Sunday report that BBC executives are considering him as a potential contestant on the next season of The Celebrity Traitors.

According to a source, the show’s producers are really pushing to get Stephen on board. They see him as a major star who would attract a lot of attention.

He’s a hugely talented and popular actor, but remains quite private. Because of this, many people are curious to see what he’s really like behind the scenes, and are eager for a glimpse into his everyday life.

It won eight Emmy awards and four Golden Globes.

Graham shared a story about the show’s impact: a man approached him in a Tesco supermarket to express his gratitude, explaining that the program had sparked a meaningful conversation with his son.

Danny Dyer, Ruth Jones, and Bob Mortimer are reportedly joining Claudia Winkleman as contestants on the show, which is filmed at Ardross Castle later this year. The positive reception to the first celebrity series has convinced many stars who were previously hesitant to take part.
