As a hardcore gamer and binge-watcher of top-tier television shows, I can tell you that the news about Nicole Kidman joining the cast of “Special Ops: Lioness” for its second season is absolutely thrilling! I’ve been a fan of her work since I first saw her in “Eyes Wide Shut,” and the fact that she’s now part of this high-octane series produced by Taylor Sheridan is just fantastic.
A first look at Nicole Kidman at work on Special Ops: Lioness season 2 has been unveiled.
Last year, the Paramount+ show created by Taylor Sheridan for “Yellowstone” gained immense popularity upon its release and has now been granted a second season.
Kidman recently unveiled a fresh snapshot from the set of the upcoming episodes, displaying herself in a cowboy hat while mingling with team members. (Or, Kidman has provided a new image from filming the new installments, featuring herself donning a cowboy hat and interacting with crew members.)
I’ve seen a lot of cowboy hats in my time, having grown up in the heart of Texas ranch country. But let me tell you, the one I recently got is by far the best I’ve ever come across. I’m talking about authentic quality here, something that speaks to the true spirit of the American West. And who do I have to thank for introducing me to this gem? Why, none other than Taylor Sheridan and his team at Lioness, of course! With their latest collection, they’ve truly outdone themselves. So, as we dive into Season 2, I can’t help but be excited to see what else these talented folks have in store for us. #TexasProud #CowboyHatLove #TaylorSheridan #Lioness
The program “Lioness” takes center stage in the show, as CIA agent Joe, portrayed by Zoe Saldaña and reporting to Kaitlyn Meade’s superior, is given the assignment of mentoring Sergeant Cruz Manuelos (Laysla De Oliveira).
After learning about its renewal, Jeff Grossman from Paramount+ expressed: “The Paramount+ viewers have shown great enthusiasm for the captivating, international tale of ‘Lioness’ and the outstanding performances of Zoe Saldaña, Laysla De Oliveira, and Nicole Kidman.”
“We’re eagerly anticipating more heart-pounding suspense and action from Taylor Sheridan and his skilled crew in the upcoming second season.”

Last year, a lioness in Paramount+’s lineup drew tremendous global interest, making it one of the most-viewed series premieres for the platform as stated by Chris McCarthy, Paramount Global’s CEO Office and President & CEO of Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios.
With Taylor Sheridan’s brilliant storyline and the exceptional acting of Nicole Kidman and Zoe Saldaña, season two is set to take viewers on another gripping, heart-pumping adventure.
Special Ops: Lioness earned the streamer’s most-watched series premiere upon its launch last July.
Special Ops: Lioness is available to watch now on Paramount+.
