Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, and Kimberly Wyatt of the Pussycat Dolls caught everyone’s attention while out in New York City’s Financial District on Friday.
The beloved band, once known as a six-member group, is making a huge return! They’ve announced a 53-city tour spanning the UK, Europe, and North America, and have also released a brand new song.
Nicole, Ashley, and Kimberly, the members of Pussycat Dolls, looked glamorous and cheerful while enjoying a day off in the city during their PCD Forever tour. They were seen playfully having fun as they explored the streets.
Nicole, the lead singer, looked stunning in a strapless burgundy leather dress while posing for photos with her band.
The singer showed off her great shape and finished her outfit with nude heels, which made her appear taller.
Ashley looked stylish and put-together in a cream and brown blazer and matching wide-leg pants.
Oh my gosh, you guys, I just saw her walking down the street! She looked absolutely incredible. Seriously, everything was perfect – the way she carried herself, like she owned the world, and those shoes! Cream-colored stilettos, so elegant! And her hair… that sleek side part just framed her face perfectly. I swear, she’s a vision!
Kimberly looked glamorous in a fitted brown satin dress with a low neckline, posing confidently for the photographers.
She accentuated her long legs with sheer black tights and classic black pointed-toe heels.
The trio were all smiles as they posed for a series of striking snaps together.
Nicole, Ashley and Kimberley have reunited for the first time since splitting 16 years ago.
However, three former members – Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta, and Melody Thornton – won’t be joining the band on its next tour.
Carmit and Jessica have both shared that they were surprised by the reunion, as they weren’t invited to participate.
Carmit shared a video on Instagram from the girl group’s ex-producer, Eddie Serrano, where he voiced his disapproval of their recent reunion.
He explained he wanted to discuss a single topic, emphasizing his close friendships with members of the Pussycat Dolls, and specifically called Carmit his sister.
I’m really disappointed by this Pussycat Dolls ‘reunion’ because it doesn’t include some of the original members who were key to creating the group’s success. It bothers me that they weren’t involved.
We should view them as a group, not just as individual performers who used to be in the Pussycat Dolls. Right now, they’re essentially just the name without the full group dynamic.
Alongside the clip, the singer wrote: ‘Luv you.’
Jessica shared that she was just as surprised by the reunion announcement as everyone else, learning about it when it was made public.
When a fan inquired about a potential reunion with the Pussycat Dolls, Jessica stated she wouldn’t be participating.
I can’t believe they’ve been planning this for a whole year without even bothering to include Carmit and me! We’re finding out about it at the same time as everyone else, which is just… shocking.
Jessica followed up by posting a series of puzzling messages on her Instagram Stories that seemed to be directed at her bandmates.
Trust that things are happening for a reason. Even if it’s painful, letting go of people and situations that aren’t right for you creates space for the good things that are meant to be in your life.
Someone else pointed out that regularly attending church doesn’t excuse unkind or unethical behavior; God notices how you treat people and what actions you take.
Another message said: ‘The people who caused you pain will witness God’s incredible healing in your life – it will be obvious, stunning, and far greater than they ever imagined.’
Former member Melody Thornton has so far remained silent about the reunion.
The Pussycat Dolls initially disbanded in 2010, and Kimberly Wyatt explained she felt creatively stifled by the group at that time.
Nicole started a career as a solo artist, and in 2019, the group came back together with five members, but without Melody Thornton. They released a song called “React” and planned a reunion tour for 2020, which unfortunately had to be canceled because of the Covid pandemic.
Rumors of a reunion began last month when the three members were seen having dinner together at the upscale Gaia restaurant in London’s Mayfair.
I’m so excited to share that tickets for the tour I’ve been waiting for are finally on sale! You can get yours online right now for all the UK and European dates.
