Devsisters recently held its online event, DevNow 2026, where they shared their long-term plans for the CookieRun universe, titled “The Future and Beyond.” The showcase featured announcements about upcoming games, significant updates, and other exciting news. Here’s a recap of the key highlights from the event.

DevNow 2026 reveals CookieRun: New World as the IP’s most ambitious project

One of the most exciting announcements was definitely CookieRun: New World. This game, built with Unreal Engine, promises a huge open-world adventure that continues the story after the Five Heroes. It’s a very ambitious project planned for release in 2029 on mobile, PC, and consoles, coinciding with the franchise’s 20th anniversary.

CookieRun: Crumble is bringing a relaxing and casual gameplay experience this year

Coming in the second half of 2026 for both Android and iOS is CookieRun: Crumble, a new casual game. Originally known as Project CC, it combines idle RPG gameplay with the beloved CookieRun style, offering a relaxing experience. Fans of the series have a lot to look forward to, with both this game and CookieRun: OvenSmash scheduled to release this year.

CookieRun: OvenSmash is arriving this month with fast-paced real PvP action

You’ve probably heard about CookieRun: OvenSmash, the first fast-paced, player-versus-player game in the CookieRun universe! It takes place in Platter City and focuses on team battles where you’ll use unique skills and Spell Cards to compete in six different game modes. The best part? It’s launching on March 26th, so the wait is almost over!

CookieRun Kingdom Chapter 2 sets the stage for a multiverse war this May

In addition to its upcoming games, DevNow 2026 announced that CookieRun: Kingdom is preparing for Chapter 2. The new story will focus on broken timelines and a massive war between different groups, all fighting to determine which reality will ultimately prevail.

The latest update includes a brand new world called Timeline of Fate, and we’re releasing main story updates more frequently – every two weeks – which we hope players will enjoy! Look forward to this content in May. Along with the new world, you’ll also meet Timekeeper Cookie and Ash Salt Cookie, and experience various game improvements.

CookieRun: Kingdom x K-Pop Demon Hunters collaboration

Cookie Run: Kingdom players have a lot to look forward to! This April, the game is teaming up with the popular Netflix movie, K-Pop Demon Hunters. As someone who enjoys both, I’m especially excited to see the adorable chibi versions of the K-Pop Demon Hunters characters in the game.

CookieRun Classic is finally arriving globally

Good news for Cookie Run fans around the world! The developers are getting ready to release CookieRun Classic globally, after being available only in South Korea. You’ll be able to pre-register for the game starting in June.

Get ready for the 10th anniversary of CookieRun: OvenBreak

This year marks the 10th anniversary of CookieRun: OvenBreak, and exciting updates and events will be rolling out in October. The developers recently previewed new content including Agar Agar Cookie, Red Velvet Cookie, Season 11, costumes, and improvements to the Map Maker.

CookieRun: Braverse expands with a new booster set

On March 27th, CookieRun: Braverse will release a new booster set called A Game of Truth and Deceit. This update includes hundreds of collectible cards, fresh themes, and a new Extra Card feature to add more strategy to the game.
