Types of Drive Disk Sets in Zenless Zone Zero
In the game Zenless Zone Zero, Drive Disks serve an essential role, comparable to relics in Honkai: Star Rail. By equipping these Drive Disks on your Agents, you’ll grant them a diverse array of statistical boosts, including enhancements to HP, attack power, and critical hit chance.
Main Stats
As a gamer, I can explain that each Drive Disk I use has a primary attribute and up to four secondary attributes. The type of Drive Disk determines its main stat – for instance, if it’s in the main Drive Disk slot, it might have a high attack power. However, when I insert it into additional slots, possible main stats could include defense, agility, or other game-specific attributes.
- I: Flat HP
- II: Flat ATK
- III: Flat DEF
- IV: HP%, ATK%, DEF%, CRIT Rate%, CRIT DMG%, Anomaly Proficiency
- V: HP%, ATK%, DEF%, PEN Ratio%, Element DMG%* (*Element DMG is random and can roll any of the 5 elements available in the game)
- VI: HP%, ATK%, DEF%, Anomaly Mastery%, Energy Regen%, Impact%
As a gamer, I can tell you that these disks are essential for enhancing my Agents’ stats. Each Agent has the capacity to carry six disks, labeled I through VI in Roman numerals. For every Agent, each Drive Disk comes with a primary stat and up to four secondary stats. When you equip a certain number of disks from the same set, you unlock extra Set Effects.
Sub Stats
Drive Disks sub-stats are randomly generated. The list of possible sub-stats includes:
- Flat HP
- Flat ATK
- Flat DEF
- HP%
- ATK%
- DEF%
- Crit Rate%
- Crit DMG%
- PEN (flat)
- Anomaly Proficiency

How to Obtain Drive Disks
As an avid fan, I’d be happy to share with you two ways I’ve come across for obtaining the Zenless Zone Zero Drive Disk Set. The initial method is by visiting the Music Store, which goes by the name Bardic Needle. Here, you can utilize Plating Agents to procure fresh Drive Disks with randomized tracks. But, how do we get these elusive Plating Agents? Through Commissions, my dear! Keep in mind that each Commission comes at a cost in stamina points.
With each rise in your account rank, the Music Store gains levels, granting access to fresh functionalities such as new Disk Sets. Furthermore, through Tuning Orientation, you can select a preferred set and boost its drop probability, facilitating the acquisition of the desired Drive Disks.
The second approach involves Driver Validation, which shares some resemblance to Honkai: Star Rail’s Caverns of Corrosion. Drive Disks can be elevated in level to amplify the primary stat bonus, while secondary stats are assigned upon acquisition or enhancement and cannot be altered. A Drive Disk’s maximum level is contingent on its rarity, with options ranging from B to S rank.
Rare Drive Disks come with superior base statistics and can develop more impressive stats through upgrades. For Drive Disks that possess less than four sub-stats, acquiring a new random sub-stat becomes an option when they level up. Conversely, those with the full set of four sub-stats will experience a random enhancement to one of their existing sub-stats instead.
Final Thoughts
In the zone of Zenless Zone Zero, Drive Disks are vital for enhancing your Agents’ abilities and accessing potent set perks. You can acquire them by visiting the Music Store or through farming Driver Validation. By increasing their levels, you unlock additional advantages. Tailored to diverse playstyles and elements, Drive Disks significantly impact gameplay in ZZZ.
