Aliens Fireteam Elite 2 Document Seemingly Leaks Online

As a die-hard fan of the Alien franchise, I was both excited and disappointed to hear about the alleged leak of information regarding Aliens Fireteam Elite 2. The original game, released in 2021, left me feeling underwhelmed. In our review, I expressed my disappointment, stating that “a lack of atmosphere, tension, and interesting things to do beyond shooting things made for a somewhat disappointingly flat experience.”

Unexpected information about Aliens Fireteam Elite 2, which hasn’t been officially announced yet, has surfaced online and is currently circulating through social media.

According to a leaked document, the upcoming game is a sequel to Aliens: Fireteam Elite, the cooperative shooter that was launched in 2021. Known as Project Macondo, this new title is predicted to hit the shelves in the year 2025.

In the exciting sequel, titled Project Macondo, I’ll be unable to customize my character’s traits or skills like in Aliens: Fireteam Elite. Instead, we’ll have predefined character archetypes to choose from.

Additionally, the game does not include microtransactions or an in-game voice chat function. However, keep in mind that this information could be subject to change as the game progresses through development.

It’s possible that this information became available due to Disney’s recent data breach during the weekend. Approximately 1 terabyte of data was reportedly stolen by hackers in that incident.
