I’m a huge Ryan Gosling fan, and it’s always felt weird that he hadn’t been in a Marvel movie yet! But it sounds like that might be changing. He’s talked about wanting to play Ghost Rider, and apparently, there are some things in the works – it’s taking a while, but I’m really hoping it happens!
Ryan Gosling recently discussed his new film, Project Hail Mary, on the Happy Sad Confused podcast. Host Josh Horowitz asked him for an update on rumors that he might be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as there hasn’t been much news about that possibility lately.
“We’ll keep hope alive”, he said. “Some discussions have been had. It’s a complicated situation.”
Ryan Gosling is also joining a major Disney franchise – the Star Wars universe! He’ll be in the new movie, Star Wars: Starfighter, which takes place in a previously unseen era within the Star Wars timeline.
During the interview, he shared a heartwarming story about his mother finding his childhood Star Wars bedsheets after he got the part in the movie. He said it really inspired him.

“I work on that movie that whole time, I get one day off [and it’s that]!” the actor lamented.

He admitted he wasn’t a huge fan, explaining, ‘I just remember thinking it was really cool when I was younger.’ He hadn’t kept up with it enough to know the trivia, but he thinks Ncuti Gatwa is a brilliant choice for The Doctor.
