Tonight’s Comic Relief show wrapped up after raising a significant amount of money. The BBC One special, called Comic Relief: Funny For Money, featured a variety of well-known presenters, including Davina McCall, Katherine Ryan, Nick Mohammed, Joel Dommett, and Catherine Tate, and was often quite moving.
By the end of the show, a total of £30,004,040 had been raised, including a significant £4.2 million from Greg James‘ challenging 1,000km bike ride across England, Wales, and Scotland.
Having completed his work in Edinburgh today, he visited a TV studio in Salford and encouraged everyone to show the same kindness they’ve shown him in their daily lives.

I’m starting to feel a bit embarrassed by all the positive attention,” he explained to McCall. “It was just a preliminary idea to help raise funds and get people talking about the fantastic work Comic Relief does for its supported charities.
Here’s a thought: imagine you’re interacting with a slightly famous person riding a bike with another person. Be considerate and give them space!
