Latto reveals pregnancy on new Big Mama album cover after confirming relationship with 21 Savage

Rapper Latto surprised her followers on Friday with two big announcements: she’s expecting a baby, and she shared the cover art for her new album, ‘Big Mama’.

Although she’s been linked to rapper 21 Savage since 2020, the 27-year-old singer didn’t mention him when promoting her new album or single.

Latto showed off her growing baby bump on the cover of the magazine, wearing a see-through black top for a relaxed, studio-style photo.

She added a playful touch to the cover by cradling an adorable cheetah cub in her arms.

The cover looked old thanks to intentional scratches, and the title was handwritten as if with a permanent marker.

Latto announced that her album, ‘BIG MAMA,’ will be released on May 29th. She also shared that the song and music video for ‘Business & Personal (Intro)’ are now available, and expressed her gratitude.

I was so excited when the song dropped, and it was labeled as the ‘intro’ – it really feels like we’re finally getting a taste of what Big Mama will be like! Especially since Latto already gave us ‘Somebody’ back in May, this confirms it’s going to be the first track on the album, and I can’t wait!

The video began with a gentle touch from the artist, accompanied by images that slowly showed off her new look.

The video showed her being filmed from multiple angles – first from behind, then in close-up. Finally, it pulled back to reveal she was pregnant.

Throughout the video of Latto painting and preparing a nursery, old home movies played, showing her as a little girl.

A close-up shot showed a hand, seemingly belonging to a man, intertwined with Latto’s as they both gently held her baby bump.

Even though she didn’t mention 21 Savage directly in her video or social media posts, a hand with tattoos matching his appeared in the content, and she repeatedly praised her significant other.

About halfway through the song, the music shifted to a harder, more energetic sound with faster rapping. This is when Latto confidently showed off her physique, including her growing baby bump, as she celebrated a luxurious lifestyle.

The rapper showed off by posing on the hood of a moving Rolls-Royce. She was also photographed enjoying caviar and casually handling large amounts of cash, deliberately exposing her midriff.

The music video changed styles as Latto rapped lyrics including, ‘Big Mama, b, your a getting spanked,’ and references to a Maybach and having a child on the way, as detailed by Genius.

She later said that being pregnant wouldn’t stop her from working hard, explaining, ‘This baby isn’t slowing me down at all – if anything, it’s giving me more energy!’

She also joked about wearing ‘Balenci’ sweats’ while she was ‘tryna hide my belly.’

Rumors about Latto and 21 Savage dating started in 2020, but she didn’t officially confirm their relationship until last year.

Rumors about their relationship started gaining traction in 2023 when she revealed a new tattoo near her ear – the first name of 21 Savage.

In September, Latto told TMZ that she was dating the rapper, whose real name is Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph.

I’ve noticed she’s been calling him ‘husband,’ which is definitely interesting! While they haven’t publicly confirmed they’re married, it’s a pretty strong hint, don’t you think? It’s creating quite a buzz, and I’m sure we’ll have official news soon enough.

Her partner is already the father of three children: sons Kamari and Ashaad and daughter Rhian.
