Spider-Man: Brand New Day has already set an incredible new record ahead of release

Even though Spider-Man: Brand New Day isn’t coming out for several months, the fourth solo movie starring Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has already achieved a significant milestone.

You’ve probably already seen it, but the first trailer for the new superhero movie was released recently. It was incredibly popular, racking up 718.6 million views in just one day!

This trailer broke the previous record for film trailers—previously held by Deadpool & Wolverine with 365 million views in a day—and surpassed the all-time trailer record of 475 million views in 24 hours set by Grand Theft Auto 6.

The new trailer is full of exciting moments! It includes a nod to Spider-Man’s original comic book appearance, and brings back familiar faces like Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Michael Mando as Scorpion, and Jon Bernthal as The Punisher. Plus, it seems like the movie will adapt the popular “Man-Spider” story arc.

Many fans speculate that the hooded figure seen with raised hands is Sadie Sink playing Jean Grey, but it’s currently unconfirmed whether she’s taken on the role of the powerful psychic character.

What to Read Next

There’s a quick scene with a young woman who has white streaks in her hair, and it’s possible she’s Rogue, another member of the X-Men.

This movie has a lot happening for Spider-Man, but the trailer suggests his biggest goal is reconnecting with MJ, played by Zendaya (who is also Tom Holland’s wife in real life). After the events of No Way Home, everyone has forgotten who he is, and he’s hoping to fix that.

Originally, Brand New Day was scheduled to come out only a week after Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, which also features Tom Holland and Zendaya. However, the release date has been pushed back, and now it will premiere two weeks after that film.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is released in cinemas on 31 July.

Okay, so the latest issue of Living Legends magazine just dropped, and it’s all about Harry Styles! It’s a huge 100-page, full-color spread, and I just saw you can grab it at any newsstand or order it online. Definitely checking this one out!
